Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Monday, September 07, 2020

Former Vice President Joe Biden spent the Labor Day weekend visiting his son Beau Biden's grave. The elder Biden's son died of glioblastoma, a brain cancer that creates a web of cancer throughout the brain, making it incredibly difficult to fight. President Donald Trump's rapid-response staffer Francis Brennan chose to mock Biden as he walked through the Delaware cemetery to his son's grave.

You've probably heard Speedy Navarro yap about "Trump time"? This is "Trump class."

From the head down, folks.

The former vice president had just come from St. Joseph on the Brandywine church in Wilmington, Delaware, and was walking on a path through the cemetery. Trump was playing golf at roughly the same time.

Beau Biden died of brain cancer in 2015; Neilia and Naomi Biden were killed in a car accident in 1972.

The poisonous apples don't fall far from the diseased tree. Like candidate, like surrogates - nary a heart with a humane beat to be found anywhere.

Trumpism has exposed, or re-exposed, a really disgusting seam of American culture.

Things like this make me wonder, again, what happened to Trumpites to make them the way they are? Did someone squeeze their little baby skulls before they were fully formed? Who physically and emotionally abused them? Whatever happened, they give every evidence of being seriously damaged. And I mean seriously damaged in a serious way. Is it heavy metal poisoning?

Things like this make me wonder, again, what happened to Trumpites to make them the way they are? Did someone squeeze their little baby skulls before they were quite fully formed? Who physically and emotionally abused them in Kindergarten? Whatever happened, they give every evidence of being seriously damaged. And I mean seriously damaged in a serious way. Is it heavy metal poisoning?

This must be true, given that Trumpites apparently think there's a market out there for defaming family members who visit dead relatives.

Hasn't everyone visited a graveyard?

What's the point of such nastiness? What's it supposed to get them?

F you Francis Brennan.
You are a piece of crap.

@#3 ... What's it supposed to get them? ...

My guess would be that the Trump campaign thinks this is how to get more people to support for Pres trump.

Which makes you wonder what type of voters Pres trump is trying to obtain and retain.

Think about that.

If Trump disrespects the deceased son directly he's going to wish he stared into the sun again instead.

Yes, and I was honorably discharged from the US Army Reserves in 1971. My younger brother was honorably discharged a few years ago from the US Army Reserves after 30+ years of service that included two tours in Vietnam and one in Iraq.

Oddly, while they can throw away all their MAGA materials, those tattoos will make them wear long sleeves and long pants forever, like Roger Stone and his Nixon tattoo.

This is a failed headline. He wasn't mocked for visiting his son's grave. This is why the media and Democrats fail. Trump and his team do and say some pretty bad things yet his opponents fixate on nonsense and drown out legitimate criticisms. You people are your own worst political enemy.

Read the original tweet, he was 'mocked' for 'meandering' through a cemetery, as if that was something un-presidential. Well, maybe, but it wasn't for a father and husband visiting the graves of members of his family, something that Trump and his minions will never understand.

This is an odd post.

You recognise that the intent of the original tweet was not to mock visiting a grave, but rather to play on the GOP position that Biden is not quite with it mentally and avoids press contact.

Yet you appear to be incapable of recognising that in taking this line of attack, Brennan failed to realise that it would be almost universally mis-interpreted as an attack on family values and respect for a dead son. Brennan unintentionally played right into the Dems hands and yet you accuse them of being their " own worst political enemy."

As I said, an odd post.

From another "odd" poster.

If you look at them as propagandists of enemies of the state trying to undermine the elections and sow division and chaos and doubt in the ability of our democratic republic to remain democratic and free any way they can then it all starts to make sense.
