The postponed Tokyo Olympic Games will go ahead next year "with or without Covid", the vice-president of the International Olympic Committee says. John Coates confirmed to news agency AFP that the Olympics would start on 23 July next year, calling them the "Games that conquered Covid".

They'll just use a "bubble", NBA style. It's reasonably effective. Even more TV ads to sell now that you can have less than 25% of open air arenas filled if you are willing to close all the bathrooms and food service.

There's no way they can pull this off safely. They're probably just speaking optimistically in order to keep their insurance policies active.

Clownshack, so if Trump or Biden wins, the vaccines will be made available to the American's you highlighted. You might not take it if Trump wins but I assume you would take it if Biden wins. Your comment is interesting. Are you saying that the American's won't have a vaccine choice by the time the Olympics are to be held? Or do you think that no matter who's in charge the US won't have a workable vaccine? Honestly curious about where you stand.
