DeJoy, who now holds the position, gave President Donald Trump's campaign and the Republican National Committee more than $600,000 over eight weeks after the opening was announced, Lisa Graves, executive director of True North Research, which investigates the influence of money on public policy, said in written testimony submitted to a panel of the House Oversight Committee in advance of a hearing Monday.

That's a pretty good ROI, considering that DeJoy's company screwed taxpayers out of $58 million back 2001.

Trump sells the best government jobs bribes can buy.

When President Biden takes office and appoints a real Attorney General no forgiveness, prosecute every one of these crooks in every way possible. No mercy for any of them.

I remember the same thing said about George Bush when he left office. People had blood in their eyes.

But Obama wisely decided that he needed the public's full attention on recovering from Bush's economic recession instead of spending half his first term beating a dead horse.

Don't be disappointed if Biden does the same thing.

Remember, Trump ran for president because he wanted to improve his "brand." Instead, his "brand" has been destroyed and he'll probably lose most of his "assets" in lawsuits and eventually bankruptcy court.

In Trump's world, losing power, money and influence is a fate worse than any prison sentence.

When Trump leaves office I want to see him and $1000/hr attornies in court every day, fighting for his life, until he's too old and broke to fight any more.

That will be his just deserts.

Nah, examples need to be made.

DeJoy needs to go to DePrison for a long time.

"DeJoy needs to go to DePrison for a long time."

I wish!

But apparently the Nuremberg defense ~ "I was just following orders" ~ works well in the Trump appointed judicial system.

Oh I think this time will be Much different.
Destroying government equipment, delaying and slowing down mail service, illegal campaign contributions. Once the Dems get a hold of congress and the White House they know they need to throw some (R)tards in prison for their crimes. The American public will demand it. Via due process of course.

Everybody thinks it will be different this time. It never is.

If I had a magic wand they'd all be at the Hague right now.

If you recall, when Bush left office we all had blood in our eyes. However revenge is not a good look for a President. (exp: Donald Trump)

Obama's new administration faced enormous challenges. He wisely didn't want to spend his first term chasing Bush and his minions (Dick Cheney) through the judicial system.

Right now Biden is in the same boat. I assume he will follow Obama example..

Hmmmm, this somehow seems, what's the word...criminal, corrupt, par for the course with the Drumpf Regime?

"Hmmmm, this somehow seems, what's the word...criminal, corrupt, par for the course with the Drumpf Regime?"

You're right. Every inch appears to be a criminal attempt to interfere with the results of a federal election. It would be a case worth pursuing if Biden loses.

A difficult conviction if Biden wins.

MONSON's argument is "President Biden" should go after people like DeJoy POST election.

I'm saying that "revenge" isn't a good look for a President. People tend to think of such things as childish, churlish and thin-skinned. (Example: Donald J. Trump)

Plus you know that the President and the DOJ are supposed to operate independent of each other. MONSON is suggesting the President Biden put his finger on the scale same way Trump is doing.
