Why doesn't he just say, "Why, yes. I'm a hypocrite. So?".

The rationales they're throwing out are absurd.

"We were given a mandate in 2018 to seat a SCOTUS justice because that's what our voters wanted us to do" said Tom Cotton (paraphrased) in an interview I saw yesterday.

As if Democratic senators aren't elected with SCOTUS appointments in mind?

These hypocritical Republicans aren't going to like it if Biden wins and the Dems win the Senate and then we pack the court thereby eliminating their wrongly gained majority on the court. Pay backs are a bitch! I can almost hear them screaming already.

Because his base is so, well basic, short of saying that, they'll accept anything out of his mouth at prima facie.

As much as I really can't stand 21st century Liberals for their incredibly absurd and hypocritical attitudes towards most things, this is why I can't join any political party and I don't vote. They are both so incredibly hypocritical. I said a couple years ago that Liberals have raised the bar on hypocrisy to levels we've never seen and typically that means the other party is going to raise it even higher when they aren't in power. This is just proof that they are ready to start if they lose the vote in November. But, hey, at least Liberals are getting what they always fight for...trying to make a job about who someone is rather than if they are the best person for it.

Democrats are expected to take the House, Senate and White House.

Mitch and Trump will put in place some crazy Justice soon enough before the term ends.

That gives Democrats license to go all out. Add 4 justices? Sure. Ditch the Senate Filibuster entirely and pass anything they want? Yep.

Republicans kept saying elections have consequences. Now the consequences will catch up.
