Years in the making!? What prevented it's implementation years earlier?! People who should NOT be in charge of a peace force?

Using this program as an example - if it's promising we absolutely require holding each and EVERY police department to this standard. It's not new, has been studied for decades and only now considered essential. Keep them bound to this.

I like that!

This is what most people are talking about when they say "defund the police". Defund doesn't mean taking police budgets to zero; just using some of that budget to fund a "peace force" composed of social service and mental health peace officers.
