Four U.S. states reported record one-day increases in new COVID-19 cases on Friday as the nation surpassed the grim milestone of over 7 million total infections, according to a Reuters tally. The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Wisconsin also set a new record for the sixth day in a row, rising to 543 on Friday from 342 a week ago. Hospitalizations of COVID-19 patients also set records this week in Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.

"Conservatism" amazed me with how easy it was for them to let a president steal. It amazes me even more for how easily they let a president off the hook for not protecting them.

15 cases. Soon to be zero.

It will disappear like Magic!

And don't worry about the fires in California (yes. It's still burning out of control).

But no worries! It will get cold soon.

One thing we know for sure. That stupid "Science" doesn't know anything.

I can't wait until I reach "Herd Mentality" so it won't bother me anymore, too.

I would ask JPW to weigh in with his thoughts, given this is his field, but it seems like the number of daily new cases has plateaued, and we can expect between 35k and 45k new cases each week.

Welcome to the new normal.

" we can expect between 35k and 45k new cases each week. Welcome to the new normal."

Welcome to the TRUMP normal.

How many daily cases is Germany getting?

And to make things fair, feel free to adjust for population differences, so we can compare American apples to German apples.

"How many daily cases is Germany getting?"

Waaaayyyy less.

"And to make things fair, feel free to adjust for population differences, so we can compare American apples to German apples."

In order to make things fair, you would need to ensure that the reporting requirements for each country were the same. As of now, they are not. In fact I don't think each US state has the same reporting requirements.

Feel free to adjust for that difference as well.

"Waaaayyyy less."

So...It's not the new normal, like you suggested, but rather just the Trump normal.

This what Trumplandia looks like.

Pretty sad huh? Over 200,000 dead Americans and an economy in shambles riots in the streets and in the Capital and western America is on fire and folks in the East get to choke on the smoke from the west.

What's amazing is that Trumptilians want 4 more years of this freaky dystopia.

But,But, Hunter Biden, had a good job in Ukraine. The immigrants caravan was coming. We need that wall. He's hurting the people who need to be hurt. Baby's are being aborted. China sent the virus to destroy us.

Only Trump can save us.

He is our voice.

less almost 3 MILLION RECOVERED

No, it's not less three million recovered, Maverick.

Those still count as cases.

Just like we count all the people who got the flu, and then recovered, as flu cases.

Why do you persist in your childish denialism game?

"...less almost 3 MILLION RECOVERED"

Republican Math on steroids. And idiocy.

But I repeat myself.

The most basic duty of government is to defend the lives of its own citizens. Any government that fails to do so is a government unworthy to lead.

You wish. We're not even #1 per capita anymore. We're going to have to go Full Florida if we want to beat the Brazilians to Herd Immunity.

Nashville's back to nearly 200 cases a day after expanding capacity to 50% in bars and restaurants.
