... President Donald Trump's leading steward of public lands has been serving unlawfully ...

That doesn't matter.

So long as he has, and continues to, express absolute fealty to Pres Trump, Pres Trump will overlook the legalities.

Bureau of Land Management serves the mining & oil and gas extraction companies as well as the redneck ATV recreation jerks who rip BLM lands to shreds with their effing machines. BLM is no steward.

... ...and those goddamn patchouli-reeking, --------------- backpackers taking Instagram photos in the middle of the trail and in the way when you're trying to drive a goofy set of yearlings to the pens!

Glad to see a judge take out the trash. Pendley is a science denier who hates foreign immigrants. He's abusive to the media and says dumb stuff like the following when asked what the biggest threat to public lands are "I think the biggest issue I see is the wild horse and burro issue." Sounds exactly like one of the Trump's typical "best people."
This guy must be especially horrible if he couldn't get past the GOP Senate's rubberstamp.

Wild horses and burros are invasive species that can do a tremendous amount of damage to the already delicate arid and semi-arid rangeland ecosystems they inhabit. A great deal if not most public lands in the US are comprised of arid and semi-arid rangeland ecosystems. Ergo, the Director is entirely within reason to make this assertion.
