The opportunity to see U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell and his Democratic challenger Amy McGrath square off in a debate before the November election now hinges on one factor: whether a debate hosted by Gray TV will have a female moderator...The McGrath campaign says McConnell has not debated with a female moderator in 25 years.

"The McGrath campaign says McConnell has not debated with a female moderator in 25 years."

Interesting. I wonder if an outright refusal by McConnell to debate with female moderators would be a net-positive in Kentucky.

If Trump can seat ACB on the Supreme Court, women may no longer be allowed to have jobs or vote.

You can't have patriotism without a patriarchy to protect the weaker sex.

Amy McGrath is probably ready to kick her some Mitch caboose. I suggest she agrees to having a guy moderate, so long as she gets to pick the moderator. Candidates would include:
-The Rock
-Stephen Colbert
-Chris Cuomo
-Bill Maher
-LeBron
-Bruce Springsteen
-Bernie Sanders

Pro tip: Mitch--be careful what you ask for...

A couple my wife and I know (who moved here from Kentucky) adopted a kid from Russia during W's presidency.

They were stuck in Russia without the promised visa for their adopted son and called McConnell's office for help. After multiple calls, faxes, and emails, McConnell wouldn't lift a finger to help them. It was a Democratic House member from Nashville, Jim Cooper, who finally got them the visa so they could return home to the U.S. with their new son.
