Why wasn't this done before? Because dems want to play nice-nice with repubs?

Hopefully the gloves are off for good. Let the senate get rid of all of its archaic rules set up to inflate their egos and sense of being "better than the house".

The filibuster has got to go. Get rid of all senatorial courtesies.

You can't play nice-nice with people that are not acting in good faith. If there are any good republican senators, you had better expose yourselves or be swept out with the other Trump enabling toadies.

The GOP has a majority in the Senate. How do you think votes are going to go?

Like it says in the article: "The measure is unlikely to get the 60 votes it would need to advance. But a vote could still be politically difficult for those Senate Republicans up for reelection this fall who have said they support keeping protections for people with pre-existing conditions, even as the Trump administration took steps to have the law thrown out."

With all the hate going around, you want to take the gloves off? And you wonder why our politics is like it is...

You are going to get too happy with direct democracy. Our system was designed like this for a reason.

Take the gloves off and you might not like what happens.

Oh get the hell out of here Boaz!

You really think the Republicans have been acting in good faith for the past .... well how many years?

Your side has had the gloves off for years, your side is about to get a Tyson punch in the nose.

I wish it would've been sooner but the only way you stop a bully is to kick their ass and show what a coward they are.

Just.like.you.

Trumpy took the gloves off 4 years ago and you are afraid of the Dems also taking the gloves off??

You built this. Try and enjoy the fruits of your labors. You have worked so hard for this.

If I'm going to be afraid of anyone I'll choose a real man and not Donald Trump.
