President Trump on Wednesday released a direct-to-camera video address to the nation in which he called getting the coronavirus "a blessing from God," calling the unapproved drug a "cure" and saying he would provide hundreds of thousands of doses of unapproved drugs to Americans free of charge.

"I think this was a blessing from God that I caught it," Mr. Trump said in the nearly five-minute video, released after nearly two days out of public view and just over three hours before Vice President Mike Pence was scheduled to debate the Democratic vice-presidential nominee, Senator Kamala Harris of California.

There you go.

He's cured. God blessed him.

It'll be really embarrassing if he dies a few weeks from now. All this talking like he's all better. Herman Cain was similar in his statements. A lot of Trumpists have gotten it and later died.

OOPS.

Those 210,000 people who died from the virus should be ashamed of themselves for not appreciating this "gift from God."

Donald Trump should not be too embarrassed to die. I'll forgive him.

Him getting Corona Virus was a gift from God. But not to Trump. To the rest of us.

I really feel like they used too much self tanner on him in this video. He is far more brown than normal and looks so weird. Add that to Pink Eye Pence last night and I wonder if either of them are doing well at all right now.

Trump just killed a few thousand more people with that statement.

His body count is a hundred times higher than bin laden's.

You know...the last cult leader who tried bio terrorism in Americans was thrown out of the country because of the 1984 Rajneeshee bioterror attack.

We should consider doing the same to Typhoid Trump.

THEN we could call it a blessing from the Gawds.

Did anyone else think he sounded a little breathy throughout that that clip?

I'm uncertain I follow his logic - he's glad that he caught 'rona to take the drugs, or that he's laughing at his mortality? Only one of those responses is truly unbelievable.

Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way.

When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today." So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly. All the people saw this and began to mutter, "He has gone to be the guest of a sinner."

But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount." Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."
-Luke 19: 1-10

Blessing, eh? Let's see how long that blessing lasts...

The only thing crazier than saying having COVID is a blessing from God is the fact that his supporters automatically believe it. After just one statement, his rubes have gone from the virus is nothing to a blessing from God.

Cult.

Give it a few weeks.

You and I may be going to church again to thank God for His Blessing on America.

Blessing from God? Because of his irresponsibility, he may get to meet God sooner rather than later.

The People are saying the Notorious RBG is up there calmly arguing that case right now.

That's what the People are saying.
