North Korea held a rare night time military parade on Saturday, attended by leader Kim Jong-un. The parade marked the 75th anniversary of the Worker's Party. North Korea typically uses its parades to show off new missiles and weaponry. Experts say intercontinental ballistic missiles were evident during Saturday morning's event.

Trump almost as jealous of Kim as he is of Vlad.

From the article...

...First came the Pukguksong 4A submarine-launched missile, followed by a huge Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) on a launcher vehicle with a colossal eleven axles, so new we don't even know what name it's been given....

I heard one report this morning that the North Korean huge ICBM would be one of the largest, if not the largest, ICBM in the world, "if it works."

That one's probably made of cardboard, elsewise we'd follow it home. I can see the ant hills in my yard on Google Earth, imagine what the CIA sees.

@#11 ... elsewise we'd follow it home ...

More than likely it was tracked on the trip from its place of manufacture to the parade. We may have even seen it being assembled...

I wonder what the turning radius is on that launcher?

Get em' a body bag. Preemptive strikes are fair, if you're really, really afraid. I'm sure the policy makers in the Pentagon are scared --------. I know I am.

Tighter than you expect. 6 of 9 axles steer.

It flew in 2017. They took their -14 model, scaled it up, pulled off 4 steering engines and went from 1 main engine to 2 engines and gimbaled them, blunted and enlarged the nose cone. It's suspected this technology was sold to them by Ukraine. Unlike previous parades with obviously fake missiles these look mostly legit.

Estimated range: Pyongyang to Washington D.C. with a 1 ton payload.

I think it has 11.

Slightly stretched the TEL from the -14. It'll be the back 3 and front 4 most likely but multi-axle steering is standard on these things for longer than I've been alive.

It'd be funny if Elon Musk lent the U.S. government one of his massive Starship rockets to parade around.

That thing is still just a flying grain silo.

There is a Falcon 9 on display at Space Center Houston. It's the jewel of the rocket park. If I'm fortunate I'll get to work on the exhibits.
