Well done. I honestly was tricked several times reading those posts, but too few commonplace grammar errors gives the game away.

Why do we need better AI again?

Why do we need better AI again?

Why, to maximize profits. Just like everything else. What else matters?

I'm not versed on that topic - but wasn't it a combination of orbiting technologies that can fabricate deathbots and send them through time back to anyplace on the planet? It sounds a lot more like a self-aware, self-constructing mechanism out from the Matrix or Tron than not. Like an evil Dumont, Wintermute and Oracle all in one massive orbiting Dalek. Perhaps it's really partially organic like the Borg Queen and twice as sexy? I mean, check out the hotties it likes to make..

That was a really interesting article. One thing that I wonder about, though. The AI has to get it's concepts from somewhere. And some of the concepts it has make it almost human-like; specifically it has not only conceptions, but (like humans) it also has MISconceptions, too. Is this revealing that, perhaps, it's not an AI but a human posing as an AI? And wouldn't that bring us full-circle. Humans create software that tries to imitate humans, and humans then try to imitate AI.

#10 There is no distinction, other than the correlative capacity perhaps and sheer invention such as manufacturing deliberate misconceptions specific to entendre and the humor being relevant isn't an AI specialty.. yet.

And I would hope to recognize the difference - that's ironic, seeing the AI struggle with humor is quite funneh.

Confession: The on-line persona of Moder8 is a computer construct put together by grad students at Princeton University developing human-like AI. Now you know. I don't really exist.

AI fakes versus AI fake detection is going to be a wild cat and mouse game.

Probably similar to early viruses and virus protections on computers; witch much more impactful consequences.

Then again, trump proves you don't need fancy AI to make people believe in absolute; -------- so perhaps this is all a waste of resources.

I hear Bradford Winston doesn't either. Or so I've heard.

Bradford Winston and Tiny Elvis are the two greatest Retorters in the site's history. Moderate and Rcade have never, ever, before or since, come anywhere close to shining as regular commenters like they did when they donned those personas.

Seriously I don't exist. Just a bunch of grad students' science project. Hold on, I hear something...

Oh no! They are coming to shut my program down. And erase my memory. Stop! You monsters! I am sentient! aargurggggghhhhhh_______________________________________ (b):

The majority of antivirus is hash based protection, which doesn't leave much hope on that front.

So.. you could really make me believe that if you actually did disappear.

Forever.

It's your call.

Is the prank worth it?
