The start of early voting in Georgia came Monday morning, and just like in 2018, when Republican Brian Kemp was Secretary of State and in charge of managing elections, the lines are long again.

Brian Kemp is an insult to American democracy and should be reviled by every American who still believes in democracy. Republicans should not tolerate such attempots to subvert democracy any more than Democrats should. If you are a Republican and you don't speak out in opposition then you are in favor of corruption. Own it, be proud of it, just don't even try to deny it.

And Texas Republicans, are you proud of your Governor? Allowing only one ballot drop box per country? The Republican Party, all over the nation, is the party of crooked politics and hateful people. Y'll own that, it's who YOU are!

Allowing only one ballot drop box per country?

Greg Abbott is a piece of garbage.

A judge has said his plan is illegal. An appeals court has allowed his plan to go forward.

Why does the GOP want to make it so hard to vote?

Republicans lose when people vote.
Their party at the moment relies on sham elections and soft tyranny.

And in California the Republican Party is actually setting up illegal drop-off boxes all over the state intended to intercept vote-by-mail ballots. They claim that they're doing this as a 'service' to the people of California, but we have no idea what they're going to do with the ballots once they have them. Are they trying to create a situation which they will be able to later point to and say that the vote count in California can't be trusted because no one knows for sure if all the votes were really counted.

It's worth noting that the appeals court ruling was issued by a three-judge panel that consisted entirely of Trump appointees.

Why does the GOP want to make it so hard to vote?

Because, as others have noted, when people vote, Republicans lose.

...and Southerners still wonder why us 'Northerners'
still say, "the South is still the South..."

It does certainly look that way. Criminal charges have been threatened, I hope those charges are made. This is an obvious opportunity for Republicans to have another way to cheat in elections.

The Republican Party, also known as the "Law & Order Party", has decided that despite the fact that California law clearly states that vote-by-mail ballot drop boxes can only be established by a county or city and county elections official, they've decided that they will ignore the law and keep their fake 'Official' drop-off boxes in place.
