The federal prosecutor appointed by Attorney General William P. Barr to review whether Obama-era officials improperly requested the identities of individuals whose names were redacted in intelligence documents has completed his work without finding any substantive wrongdoing, according to people familiar with the matter.

"without finding any substantive wrongdoing"

No way... Trump's been lying about this the whole time, and will keep lying about it?

And he's teed off at Barr for not finding something, anything?

So surprising.

Not finding any substantive wrongdoing means only one thing - keep calling it a disgrace, fake and despicable until it is.

Another one of Trump's hoped for 'October Surprise' bombshells turned out to be nothing more than a fart in the wind...

BORED

"This means Flynn is a traitor and Barr is his accomplish."

Biden is going to have his hands full getting the coronavirus under control. That has to be his #1 job on the domestic front.

But while that's going on, and without too much fanfare, I wouldn't mind if Biden's new A.G. appointed a Special Prosecutor to quietly investigate federal charges against Barr.

I'd really like to see some daylight on that subject.

BTW, has anyone seen Bill Barr? What about Rudy? I know Christie is out of the hospital after his covid scare, but what about these two gentlemen, and I use the term loosely, who were at the WH spreader event (Barr) or at Trump's prep debate (Rudy)?

That and the Durham Report. And also Giuliani's phony "evidence" on Hunter Biden that was slipped over the transom by accomplice Devin Nunes.

Lyin Donny will still campaign on this conspiracy theory and judging by the morons that attend his super spreader events facts don't matter.

Attorney General Preet Bhara can handle it.

Congrats on posting this, Gracie. Good for you and the truth.

Ron Johnson (Wis.), Charles E. Grassley (Iowa) and Rand Paul (Ky.) should all be ashamed of themselves, but if you squeezed them all dry you couldn't get a drop of morality out of them.

The end of Bash's case is similar to that of a review conducted by John Huber, the U.S. attorney in Utah, who was asked in November 2017 by Sessions to look into concerns raised by Trump and his allies in Congress that the FBI had not fully pursued cases of possible corruption at the Clinton Foundation and during Clinton's time as secretary of state. The Post reported in January that the inquiry had effectively ended with no tangible results. In the months that followed, Trump bemoaned the state of the inquiry on Twitter, asserting that Huber "did absolutely NOTHING."

Yep. Trump's still calling for arrests of his political opponents, even as they continue to be cleared of all the spurious and ridiculous "allegations" (smears without merit).

Or Attorney General Sally Yates. Both would be excellent choices should Biden win.

Let's hope a Biden administration will do this:

Asha Rangappa @AshaRangappa_

My guess is that, after reviewing the underlying intelligence about Flynn's behavior that gave rise to SO MANY unmasking requests across the government and IC (which would have been made without knowing it was Flynn!), Bash told Barr this was probably not a path that would help T

Speaking of which: Barr has spent millions of $$$ to investigate "unmasking," on the premise that any investigation of Flynn was completely unwarranted.

How about they declassify the NSA intel which prompted so many unmasking requests so the public can know what he was up to?

"underlying intelligence about Flynn's behavior that gave rise to SO MANY unmasking requests across the government and IC"

Sounds like Russian spies have infiltrated all levels of the GOP.

I can see why Barr wouldn't want to publicize that.

Honestly, whoever the next Dem AG is, they need to look into ALL these politically motivated investigations and start indicting people, beginning with Barr, but also Ratface and Pompousass, Ghouliani, and the Russian useful idiot Senators and Congresscriters starting with Johnson and Nunes, we need to root these Russiapublicans out of our government, they are traitors.

It is becoming more and more obvious that Trump and the GOP were never planning on running on policy and his/their records in 2020. They were always planning on running on Durham's investigation, this unmasking investigation, Hillary Clinton's emails and the Hunter Biden Russian disinformation storyline.

All those things are going to work for the non-college educated white men, too. They are in their own world and reality and facts will not penetrate that shell. They are Trump's target.

This election is going to be close.

Clearly this investigation was a hoax and a witch-hunt.

Now we must investigate the oringes.
