... President Trump's influential supporter Rupert Murdoch is telling close associates he believes Joe Biden will win the election in a landslide. ...

Perhaps that is the way it looks at the moment, but I do see some of Mr Biden's momentum starting to diminish. It seems to have stopped rising, and is now holding steady, possibly even starting to sag. It is too soon to tell if these recent results will hold for the longer term, or if they are just an anomaly.

Has Pres Trump been able to turn attention away from the pandemic, where he has performed/is performing abysmally?

Is the Supreme Court hearing diverting attention away from Pres Trump?

Where are we now, about 19 days from Election Day?

Still plenty of time...

Lamp, we are 19 days from Election Day, but voters are already voting in record breaking numbers. I am hopeful that Biden will get the landslide so many seem to be predicting.

I am also hopeful that the newly registered Republicans Trump keeps touting will turn out to be 'never trumpers' and are due to GOP groups for Biden.

People are scared because the ogre won against the odds in 2016. I don't think that will happen again. You know why?

Joe Biden is NOT Hillary Clinton.

Nuff' said.

"I am hopeful that Biden will get the landslide so many seem to be predicting."

I am very hopeful that maybe America has finally learned its lesson.

But, I am not very confident.

Don't get fooled into complacency, Dems.

I hope he does. In the 21st century, what kills America is hypocrisy. Too much coming from one side when not in power is destroying things. We not only need limited terms for POTUS but limited terms by party, too. The amount of Democrat hypocrisy in the last 4 years has done enough damage to the country. It's time to get a Dem back in office so the Reps can begin their hypocrisy anew and give us a fresh place to start from so that the bar can at least recover again until the Reps bring it back down. Another Trump term is going cause Dem hypocrisy to lower the bar even worse (something that seems impossible but, of course, isn't) and do permanent damage that we will never be able to recover from. I know it sucks to legislate based on grown folk crying like babies but this country has to keep up with the times are all is lost.

Ignore any news that might prevent you or anyone else from voting as though Biden's election depends on it.

I just wish Humtake could express his idiotic opinions without so much empty hot air.

"Is the Supreme Court hearing diverting attention away from Pres Trump?"

I think it is focusing even more attention on Trump because of the issues that his nominee is surely lying her ass off about her not discussing those issues with Trump, like ACA, Roe v Wade and especially recusal if this election ends in the court. I don't believe anything she says and I have listened to a good deal of the hearings.

Trump has been like a magnifying glass on the GOP. He has made all the hypocrisy, greed and dishonesty plain for anyone paying attention to see. And the sad truth is, he has revealed that tens of millions of Americans just do not care.

Judging from the mile-long lines around the block in some counties, I think a lot of people are making their voices heard. This much early voting is good for Democrats. When the systems crash on November 3, and the Republicans cry foul, as we know they will, I hope that those voices are loud enough to send a message that it's over for the Republican Party. Their only hope is to hold the Senate. I hope that flips, too.

I wonder what happens when the wingnuts declare Civil War and nobody shows up...

"I wonder what happens when the wingnuts declare Civil War and nobody shows up..."

You think it will be that ineffective? These folks have been thirsting to kill their fellow Americans for decades. At least a couple of them on this very forum. Expect some guerrilla warfare type skirmishes across the country. Might not rise to the level of civil war but it won't be pretty.

If the wing-nuts declare civil war it will be a bunch of white rednecks murdering black people. And even after it was forcibly put down by the rest of us, America would never be the same afterwards.

Without a doubt, THE dumbest take of the day! Seriously.

GOP=hypocrisy. It has never ended. Ms. Lindsey and Moscow Mitch on Clinton impeachment witnesses versus the Drumpf impeachment witnesses. Ms. Lindsey on Drumpf himself. The Russia hawk GOP rolling over and showing their bellies to Putin and his puppet. The law and order party electing the most criminally corrupt POTUS in the history of the country. The family values party electing a thrice married philanderer who has been credibly accused of sexual assault by at least 20 women and who bragged about is sexual assault technique, which coincidentally confirms the stories of the 20 women as to how he grabbed their privates. Drumpf claiming he would never golf while POTUS, or that he was putting his assets in a blind trust, or that he was working for the American people when all along the Conman in Chief has only been working for himself. His public versus private stance on Coronavirus and on and on and on. GOP is the party of hypocrisy, pure and simple.

"Murdoch Predicts Trump Will Get Beat Badly"

I'd pay good money to see that happen :)

And have Bernie jump in the ring with a steel chair to beat the coke out of the orange skulls nasal cavities.

Then Ivanka could scrape up the nasty left overs and make up a gnarly speedball for herself.

Then breast feed the the satanic kids after wiping the speedball on her nips :)

Yes I'm going to hell, see you all there :)
