A Biden surrogate needs to put repub governors in states like OK, Kansas, etc. on notice that unless they take a public stand on issues like this, a dem president might treat them the same when their states need assistance.

"A Biden surrogate needs to put repub governors in states like OK, Kansas, etc. on notice..."

I'm sure Kansas Governor Laura Kelly (D) will be surprised to hear this.

That's not how Democrats work.

By the way. No one should be surprised by Trump hating California.

He has since he lost in 2016.

Besides. If Trump got involved, it would cost the state millions in order for Trump to pose for a photo op.

From the cited article...

...The White House said California's request for a presidential major disaster declaration was rejected because it was "not supported by the relevant data."...

I guess California left out of the request the data to certify that all California's Electors would cast their votes for Pres Trump.

Hah!!

This gave me a good chuckle.

Thanks.

Much of the California wildfires burned on Federal lands:

But Californians aren't "Trump's people", so its no surprise Trump denied the request.

This brings up an important point that I've been stressing; Trumpers firmly consider non-Trumpers as un-Americans. Like we don't work, pay taxes, vote, serve on a jury, all the things that Americans do.

Trump and his Trumpers need to GTFO for the better of our country. They better serve the interests of Russia than they do our own.

Well okay, but the next fire is on Trump.

Think how many rakes $350,000,000 would buy!

Donald Trump is a ghoul.

In reversal, Trump administration approves wildfire relief funding
www.latimes.com

...After initially rejecting a state request for funds to help with six wildfires, the Federal Emergency Management Agency on Friday reversed itself and said money would be available for Californians, the governor's office announced.

"Just got off the phone with President Trump who has approved our Major Disaster Declaration request. Grateful for his quick response," Gov. Gavin Newsom said in a statement....

Since about 4% of the whole state has burned this year alone... Cali should withhold federal tax payments until they pay for the crisis... let the red states get by without her charity.

The west should succeed.. we really don't have any representation at the top of government and really don't need to be part of this jacked up union anymore.

If this pans out California could simply run up deficits until Benedict Donald is in jail or fled the country. Their fiscal year is July to July so they would have plenty of time to get the funding under an American president.

If Californians would have just raked a little harder, none of this would have ever happened.

I wonder what the millions of republican voters in California think. I believe there are more there than in most of the other states combined.

Since the fires were mostly on federal lands, ------- would probably have sent is private police to arrest them if they did.

"I wonder what the millions of republican voters in California think."

They're too busy installing fake ballot drop boxes to care.

Is that a national news story?

Same as the rest of their ilk. Masks are useless. Quarantining is a government plan to control people. Democrats are the reason there's homelessness.

What's more. The Republicans I know don't understand why there are so many billboards written in Spanish. It's America, it should all be in English was the argument.

I believe there are more there than in most of the other states combined.

Considering our population. I'd say it's a safe bet.

In 2016, 4,483,810 people voted for Trump in California.

en.m.wikipedia.org

Which is more people than the population of nearly half the states in the United States.

24 states have a population of less than 4.4 million.

I'm impressed that materials science has been able to engineer flip-flops that can withstand a flip-flopper of Trump's gargantuan corpulence.

Which is why we are having trouble getting the pandemic under control even here in California. There are a lot of Irresponsible Republicans in the LA area. It keeps spreading out from there.

Our area on the North Coast only gets Infectious when someone irresponsible brings it into the area and drops it off.
