Is Kansas "open" like Florida? If so, wouldn't this be a huge knock against the notion that we can quarantine and protect the most vulnerable while everyone else moves along with their "normal" lives?

yes for the most part but some counties are imposing some restrictions and masks are required everywhere.

and to answer your other question......yes, it would be a huge knock against that notion.

1. Fell and broke a hip.
2. Was sent to a (Red State) nursing home for rehab.
3. Got COVID-19.
4. Died from COVID-19.

So what you're saying is that Kansas is incapable of learning from others' mistakes made seven months ago? Okay, I have to admit I do find that persuasive.

The only reason we lucked out and got Kelly is because Kobach was too toxic even for the rabid Republicans to get behind. We're still plenty red sadly.

I was just poking fun... But seriously, I hope many of the folks in Kansas learned something from the destruction by Brownback.

Kansas has a chance to elect people who aren't part of trump's cult.

If they don't there may be events like this until every voter is of retirement home age.
