Donald Trump's reelection campaign accused Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer of "encouraging assassination attempts" targeting the president on Sunday afternoon, amid escalating conflict between the two political leaders. Trump's campaign, which uses the handle "Trump War Room" on Twitter, based its allegations against Whitmer on a token with the numbers "8645" clearly visible. The token appeared behind her during an interview with NBC News host Chuck Todd on Meet the Press Sunday morning.

Considering the manner in which some Trump supporters act and plan, my view is that the Trump campaign, as so many Republicans do, is projecting, accusing others of what they want to do.

Trump. As typical of Trump. Is accusing Whitmer. Of what he himself is guilty of.

Trump needs to be in prison.

Same with his entire administration.
