Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

During his interview with 60 Minutes, Trump had Kayleigh McEnany present Lesley Stahl with an oversized, 10 inch, hard bound book on his health care polices. It was so big and heavy, Stahl had difficulty holding it. I guess Trump thought 60 minutes would simply judge the book by its cover and never open it, but they did, revealing it was empty, full of blank pages.

Trump almost got away with it too. If only he had known that some people actually open books and read their contents.

Say what you will about the Trump Presidency, but it's comedy gold Jerry. Just set the entire thing to the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme.

So you're saying Trump forgot to sign one of the pages.

Well, that does sound like his health care policies.

We need to stop assuming they mean the same thing we do when they use similar phrases.

That IS his plan. Period. Don't read more into it than that.

It's as substantial as today's GOP

Trump doesn't operate in a vacuum
The GOP and today's "conservative" ideology is nothing more than coordinated fantasy

Aside from how tacky it is to throw a massive binder into the arms of a 78 year old woman to make your infantile point that lots of paper means you did something, we need to give Trump credit for accuracy - he has zero plan and the blank pages reflect that.

It's actually extremely pathetic that this isn't a scandal. Trump is so lame that a stunt this juvenile and deplorable barely registers.

This stunt is emblematic of Trump himself: all cover, no content; all hat, no cattle.

article behind a pay wall.
Has anyone actually been able to look inside the binder? One article reported it had E.O. and laws passed by congress regarding health care. Wonder if the president has read it? The executive summaries? Maybe a comic book format or some one condensed to a tweet?

He sounded like such a little whiny baby during that interview. He did himself NO favors releasing it - his base will eat it up but reasoning people shouldn't.

She was not the right person to interview him though. He has no respect for women in general and it is evident time and again - then again maybe that is why she was chosen to show him for what he is...

Easy mistake for a Trumptilian to make.

In Trumplandia books are just props.

You can tune out all the bad stuff by watching ad-driven brands of news that agree with you. How can anyone do wrong if it is all in a bubble? We can see inside the bubble, but the ones inflating don't care about us. Welcome to minority party rule!
