Attorneys for Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner threatened to sue The Lincoln Project, a prominent Republican group opposing the president, for billboards it put up in Times Square in Manhattan.

The attorneys in a letter to The Lincoln Project complained about one billboard showing Trump, a senior adviser to her father, smiling and gesturing next to figures showing over 33,000 New Yorkers and 221,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus. The lawyers also cited a billboard featuring Kushner, another senior White House adviser, next to body bags and an unrelated 2019 quote from before the pandemic in which he said New Yorkers would "suffer."

Womp Womp, bitches.

Trumpy thrives on suing. He has a team of lawyers for every type of lawsuit.

Suing is a way of life for Trumpy. And lawyers are a great way for Trumpy to get out of paying bills and taxes.

If you elect a super suer then expect a lot of sewage to follow.

I find it funny when republicl0wns blather about knowing what "Americans want" and whine when they discover they aren't included on the shortlist...

What is with the Trumptilians suing everyone who publicly shows a dislike for them.

They rarely win though if the case makes it to trial.
It's more of a threat and scare tactic. Discovery is a bitch though.
Not sure it would be wise for the Trump spawn to follow thru.

@#6 ... Discovery is a bitch though.
Not sure it would be wise for the Trump spawn to follow thru. ...

I agree, that's why this one has me scratching my head.

For a couple of reasons...

1) Why draw attention to the billboards? I probably would not have known about them if the lawsuit had not been filed.

2) As your comment notes... discovery can be, well, discovery. Questions can be asked and documents can be demanded, the compelled provision of which the duo may regret.

Got the filing fee? If so, you can sue anyone you so choose. Success is not guaranteed. J-Red and Grifter Barbie are still trying to figure out how to get jobs in the Biden administration. They think that if they just keep showing up for work they will be allowed to stay after the inauguration. It's either that or going back to selling condos for dad...

Ivanka should hold onto her money. Her dad might need a loan when the N.Y. district attorneys get through with him.
