We've been to Zeta previously.

We've run out of typical names and have had to resort to the Greek alphabet previously.

In 2005.

But in December of 2005.

So now we are tied with the previous record.

This year is still setting records for the earliest naming of storms.


The quetion in my mind is...

WTF is happening to, ummm, encourage so many named storms so early in the year?
