Jennifer Rubin: If polling is accurate and former vice president Joe Biden wins handily next week, we can look forward to some very big changes: competent Cabinet officials, coherent policy initiatives, respect for the Constitution, a foreign policy that favors democracies rather than brutal dictatorships and depoliticization of the Justice Department, to name just a few. But apart from concrete policy, we can also look forward to a host of things that we once took for granted:

Well, that would be refreshing. Hope some of the Dem primary candidates are in the Cabinet.

How many Trump appointees will resign prior to Inauguration Day and how many are narcissitic enough to think that Biden still wants them?

Not enough, prolly.

Favoring Taiwan over China?

Ha, doubt it. No politician or Secretary of State would dare speak such policy into public existence.

I look forward to not hearing about how Trump is destroying America, everyday.

After Biden wins who knows what kind of crazy ---- Trump will pull during 10 weeks as a lame duck president? Anything's possible. He could nuke Kim Jung Un for calling him a dotard. The possibilities are endless!

He'll definitely go on a 'Pardon-O-Rama.' Lord knows he has enough convicted felons in his sphere.

Watch for this: Trump can also hand out 'preemptive pardons' to a whole host of others, including family, friends, former administration officials. "I grant an unconditional pardon to XXXX XXXXX for the crime(s) of ________ (fill in the blank), which can be filled in and used by recipients for any federal crimes committed or discovered up and until 12 Noon on January 20th.

"I look forward to not hearing about how Trump is destroying America, everyday."

I hope you get your wish. We'd all like to turn that page. But you know how Trump acts when he's suffered an egregious blow to his ego ~~ it's akin to lighting a match near a propane leak.

Let's get him (Biden) into office first,
then worry about what color to change the
drapes to...

I always hate presumptuous questions like
this. The election is FAR from being over.

The conservatives on the Supreme Court will
see to that...not to mention DeJoy and Trump
thugs beyond count in the states...

And then there is Russia...let's not forget
Russia...

Frankly, I only give Biden a 60% chance of
even getting into the office.

Oh, com'on EARTHMUSE

"And then there is Russia...let's not forget Russia..."

Didn't you get the memo. Putin just threw Trump under the bus over the Hunter Biden fiasco.

Not that I think he's done. Putin just has to re-negotiate their terms with the RNC for 2024. They're both in it for the long haul.

I've been asking myself lately ~ Why wouldn't the RNC be partners with Russia? They certainly haven't done anything to stop Trump's destruction of the "establishment." By so doing, they've certainly welcomed America's home grown terrorists into the fold.

Not a whisper from the RNC. I wonder why they're sitting back and watching it all unfold?

Maybe it's because by replacing the "establishment" with a Unitary Executive (one party rule forever) would increase their power 1000 fold.

So Trump wasn't a good choice. They failed ~~ for the moment. But there's always a next time. There's 2024, 2028 and beyond.

Food for thought.

TWINPAC squirm all you want, RUSSIA handed
the last election to Trump on a silver platter.
HRC might have gotten beat, possibly, on her own,
but Trump had help winning WI, MI, PA electoral,
I'm convinced of it.

Putin just threw Trump under the bus.

You just answered your own question.

Eventually Trump was going to do the same thing. I think it's always been just a matter of who was going to do it to whom first. Putin had better timing.

In organized crime, have you ever known two mob bosses that completely trusted the other one?

Obviously Russia wants the United States (and the U.S. Military) to be a "playing partner" in their mission to expand into Eastern Europe to restore the power of the former U.S.S.R.

I'm just not convinced that Trump is the "party of the first part" in this arrangement. I think it's the RNC. How can Russia end up with another useful candidate," (in 2024 or 2028) hopefully younger, smarter, a better liar, more focused and less ego-centric, than the first one, without the help of the RNC?

Yes, seriously. Without the help of the RNC! ~~ the real party of the first part.
