Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Friday, October 30, 2020

After making several wild claims about sabotage, and then finding the missing "cache of documents" (read: one flash drive), Tucker Carlson reversed course, suddenly said on Thursday night that he didn't want to be involved with "piling on" Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's son, and will not release the information he'd hyped the night before. Coincidentally, just a couple of hours before Carlson's broadcast, NBC News reported that a 64-page dossier alleging a complex conspiracy involving Hunter Biden and China was actually authored by a fake persona. The fake document had been floating around the far-right web for a month before the New York Post published a controversial article echoing those conspiracy theories.

From the article:

Tucker's screeching includes an exclusive interview with Tony Bobulinski, a former associate of Hunter's who claims Joe Biden is lying about having no involvement in his son's Chinese business deals. Numerous outlets, including Fox News' news division, have reported that a review of corporate records and documents provided by Bobulinski reveals "no role for Joe Biden."

How suck-azz does it have to be, for Fox News to decide it's beneath their dignity?

Tucker:
"So we are left with the obvious explanation: someone for some reason opened our package and removed a flash drive containing documents that were damaging to the Biden family"

So now we're supposed to believe someone knew what was on a flash drive by looking at it?!? And these "damaging documents" won't be released because Tucker is just too kind???

That reminds me: I've got a bridge to sell you.

And if do, how did a nobody like Tucker Carlson get involved?

The insidiousness of going after Hunter Biden due to his father's political ambitions is truly overlooked. Hunter is a flawed human being whose father has been a political icon for almost all of his life. And Hunter's life has been lived through innumerable tragedies regardless of whatever privilege his father's fame may have provided him.

It's rich that the supplicants of a man whose entire business is based on himself and all his affiliated children trading on the family surname are trying to scandalize another politician's son going out on his own - far less overtly, with zero hint of monetary impropriety with whatever compensation was paid him for his services - making deals based on his own.

While Hunter may very well have not exercised the best judgment, there is not one thread of malevolence or hint of any improprieties - asked, offered, or given - by either Biden. Just the mere appearance of relationships that might have been used for improper influence peddling, but there is no such influence ever peddled. We don't have to speculate "What if" because all of this is history and no actual evidence of criminal wrongdoing has ever been produced. And if one wants to say the simply using one's family name and father's position then every Trump child in his business are habitual offenders.

No one has ever made any connection to A) Hunter asking Joe to do something for his businesses, B) Evidence showing that Joe was asked and what exactly and uniquely it was that he delivered, and C) A single penny of illicitly gained money paid for services rendered.

He's a spoiled rich kid.

You're an ignorant aszwipe. Joe Biden was never wealthy until after leaving the White House in 2017 and earning his wealth from celebrity at that point as ex-presidents do through books and speeches. His net worth never reached 7 figures until then.

One of the most poignant personal stories of the Obama presidency was his telling of offering Joe a personal loan when Beau was fighting cancer and Joe was contemplating selling his Delaware home in order to support Beau's family - since his government salary was relatively meager for what was needed at that time.

Hunter was privileged but his life couldn't have been further from that of any of Donald Trump's children.

The left would have absolutely no qualms about dragging the child of a conservative politician through the same mud.

Did the left drag W's girls through the mud? Have they drug Baron "through the mud"? What about Tiffany Trump, has she been "drug through the mud"?

Now ask yourself was Amy Carter "drug through the mud" by the right? How about Chelsea - the dog - Clinton? Did the right attack Obama's daughters?

Your delusions are complete. You have no perspective whatsoever based on reality. You simply pull turds out of your behind and try to sell them as though they're pearls of wisdom. They aren't.

Yes.

Do you not remember when Jenna got busted for underage drinking?

And the right didn't go after Obama's children. It's not that they wouldn't have...there was just nothing to go after.

I think Joe B. has tried on numerous time to correct his course in life, but he's just not interested. And that's OK, but he will continue to be a problem for Biden once he's elected. Having a cokehead son who spends his nights at strip clubs isn't going to make his life easy. And you know the press will be following his every move.

#44 | Posted by madbomber at 2020-10-31 07:16 AM | Reply | Funny: 1

Do you not remember when Jenna got busted for underage drinking?

Both of the girls had underage drinking incidents that even involved the Secret Service who were supposed to protect them. These incidents were REPORTED because they were news. The left did NOT use them politically or critically against W because children are not their parents. The right is trying to drag Hunter's past into TODAY when there is no relevance whatsoever to Joe or his career as a politician - who has always been above reproach. He had the lowest net worth of any US Senator for years while he was serving in Congress - yet he was somehow corrupt and money-grubbing for his family?

The most glaring point is that he has a 47 year public career and THIS is the scandal that's supposed to define him as corrupt when Trump has hundreds of mishegoss dealings with zero transparency whatsoever - including now firing US Attorneys on the orders of a Turkish dictator and trying to derail lawful investigations.

The left hasn't even used Trump Tower Baku - where Trump and his kids pocketed money from Iranians and other criminals that they were paid for a building that never opened and stands empty today.

I won't for a second try to defend or minimize Hunter Biden's personal life and the choices that he's made. It is what it is. But what it isn't and never has been is connected to his father's career, nor has his father done anything illicit or illegal in support of his son's business ventures beyond that of any father who faithfully supports their own children and wants to see them succeed in life.

Really?

Burisma?

If you think Hunter Biden was qualified to work as an energy executive, you'd have zero credibility claiming Jared Kushner is unqualified to serve as a senior presidential advisor.

I think Joe did whatever he could to help his wayward kid. I think he's corrupt. He's just far less corrupt than the current sitting president. And I believe that any shady business he has been involved with was not for his own benefit, but for Hunter's.

If you think Hunter Biden was qualified to work as an energy executive, you'd have zero credibility claiming Jared Kushner is unqualified to serve as a senior presidential advisor.

I think Joe did whatever he could to help his wayward kid. I think he's corrupt.

Joe told Hunter not to take the Burisma gig. Hunter told his father that he knew what he was doing. Do you have an adult child? Do you realize that they're independent and can do whatever they want to that isn't illegal and that it has nothing to do with your parenting?

Hunter was already working for Burisma as a consultant within his company's actual business (Rosemont Seneca) when both he and his business partner were asked to sit on the board. Did you know that? Probably not. Burisma's board is made up of multiple people with no connection to energy if you bother to look it up instead of making ignorant guesses and wide mischaracterizations.

Interviews with more than a dozen people, including executives and former prosecutors in Ukraine, paint a picture of a director who provided advice on legal issues, corporate finance and strategy during a five-year term on the board, which ended in April of this year.
The former president of Poland is the reason why Biden and his partner were tapped for the board. Burisma was setting up a vanity board to make the company's profile more attractive to outside investors and potential partners. Boards don't run companies, they usually do what the CEO/owner wants them to do, especially PRIVATELY owned companies like Burisma.

What qualifications did Condoleezza Rice have for sitting on Exxon's board? What about Bush's former counter terrorism head that also sits on Burisma's board? What energy expertise did he bring as a former CIA official? Board's like Burisma's are entities of polite oversight, not directors of corporate decisions in and of themselves.

You don't know what you're talking about - and neither do 99.9% of Biden's critics. Do some actual research and leave speculation to idiots and fools - or continue to identify yourself right along with them.

Apparently YOU can't think at all.

Hunter Biden did not have a position IN the White House paid for by US taxpayers. Biden did not hire his kids to work IN the White House and sit in on cabinet meetings even though they could not possibly get a security clearance with their evil backgrounds. . So Apples and Oranges.

Hunter Biden had no trouble getting a security clearance. Jared Kushner identified as senior White House official whose security clearance was denied by career officials... Washington Post.

Trump had to override security experts and give an Unqualified Jared a clearance.

I challenge you to find one report where the press accused Laura Bush of "murder".
I'll save you some time. None ever did such a thing.
What some outlets did was report on the true story of how Laura Bush had been at a fault in a fatal accident in which she ran a stop sign which resulted in a collision that killed a classmate. And you know what didn't happen, Al Gore and John Kerry never mentioned it. Bill Clinton never declared his AG should launch and investigation.
