"Timely mail delivery across Pennsylvania took a drastic turn for the worse in just the last two weeks amid a glut of voting by mail," the Harrisburg Patriot Ledger reports. "In Philadelphia, 42% of all first-class mail is taking longer than five days to be delivered. For comparison, that figure was 33% two weeks ago and just 13% in January, before a series of changes handed down by the Trump administration led to a national slowdown."

Pennsylvania is the Trump campaign's lynchpin. Will be interesting to see how much shenanigans goes on there over the next few weeks.

If only the 300 lb sack of---------- put as much effort into containing the TrumpVirus as he has into destroying the USPS.

REIN

"destroying the USPS."

Let's don't forget . . . (I'm sure you know the story)

Trump is still in a rage over Jeff Bozos and Amazon's sweetheart deal with the postal service.

Trump's not going to stop, even if he's out of office.

The mail in ballots must be postmarked by next Tuesday.
Plenty of time left.

Don't listen to crazy uncle fester.

DO NOT MAIL ANY MORE BALLOTS VIA THE USPS.

It's too late.

But do drop them off in person to your nearest country ballot box. Check your local requirements but get that ballot in!

And help a friend.

Re 6

But make sure it is an official ballot box

Don't let the cheating Republicans run the old Okie Dokie on you!!

I wonder if the people most affected by this are actually Republicans. Pretty much anyone who is paying attention to anything other than conservative propaganda stations and hate radio have understood that they're being actively disenfranchised by now, right?

Wrong.

SCOTUS has left it open ended as to whether post marked ballots will be counted after Election Day.

Assuming I understood et_al's post correctly.

Except that the next lawsuit will be over the counting of ballots received by the election board AFTER November 3rd, even if postmarked on or before that date. It's not a postmark thing, it a counting ballots after election day thing, and Judge ----- McKeg has already signaled that he'd be fine with disenfranchising hundreds of thousands of voters to continue with the Dotard Kakistocracy.

I wonder if he is aiming for a court case to buy time after his loss to flush the evide3nce.

"I wonder if he is aiming for a court case to buy time after his loss to flush the evide3nce.

If Trump loses he is definitely aiming for a lot of court cases to delay the official results. His plan is to take it to the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, he's busy "manufacturing" evidence of fraud that he thinks will pass muster in front of the Supremes. He has at least one member of the intel community that will attest to fraud (Russian interference) as well as FBI Director Chris Wray who is foolishly trying not to get fired.

Trump is very good at the Art of Projection. He'll try to make himself the victim.

If I'm reading maps correctly, with the exception of Butler County, it looks like about 70% of registered voters may have already voted across PA. I hope that's good news.

Maybe the mail just wants to be slow in Pennsylvania

Slow or not, a federal judge just court ordered the U.S. Postal Service (he bypassed DeJoy) to deliver all election material (ballots) by December 3 no matter what it takes. And, that all postal employees be advised within one day of the court order.

I'm sure Pennsylvania has heard about it.

Time to start fitting DeJoy with those tight metal bracelets that click.
I hope he enjoys DePrison.

Don't let the Postal Board of Governors off the hook. They're the one who hired him (with an emphatic suggestion from Trump).

They're supposed to protect the integrity of the U.S. Postal Service.

Instead they sat back and watched it all happen, without a peep.

They're appointed by the President. I hope Biden knocks them all off their comfy perch.

If DJT wins, it will be because of Republican voter fraud. He has admitted that repeatedly. People need to believe the guy...

If he loses, he will claim it's because of voter fraud. This is the whole strategy.

DJT conceding the election would be the most 2020 thing I've ever seen. Nobody expects it, and it seems so unbelievable at this point.

Trump will never concede. It's not his nature. I suspect that will be his epitaph.

8 states won't even start counting votes until next Tuesday.
Get your vote sent in and post marked before the 3rd.

#21 - bad advice.

Only a few states allow postmarks to count.

Drop your ballot off in person if you haven't mailed it. Do NOT mail it. It's too late. If you can't drop it off, take precautions and vote in person. If you can't do any of this, and your only option is to mail it, mail it - only as a LAST RESORT.

Check your state, but even if you do that with SCOTUS meddling, be really careful! There's no telling if the website will be up to date.

If you haven't voted yet do it in person. My state has no early voting. I'm gonna do it in person. I will mask and glove up.

Extremely misleading information. It could be that you are trying to subvert our elections and democracy, but the most likely answer is that you are just an uninformed idiot.

It is not a given that ballots RECEIVED (not just mailed and postmarked) by the third will be counted. Conservatives are doing their best to leverage their activist judges to have even that taken away. But, even if they are, there is STILL a cutoff date. As far as I can tell, that is the 6th in Pennsylvania. So, if someone sends their ballot on Nov 3, and it takes five days for the USPS to deliver it, then it STILL won't be counted.

Well skulltap, how about using common sense instead of plastering the site with more of your stupido.
If someone hasn't mailed their ballot by the 3rd, they should go vote in person.
