Thank you, Beto O'Rourke and his tireless organizing since he ended his presidential bid. He's going to be the next Texas governor in 2022, and perhaps springboard from that another challenge of Grandpa Munster in 2024. TX is quickly becoming a bluish purple state, soon thanks to migration to be a blue state, and between TX and CA they will seal the fate of the Trumpublican party as a national threat forever. Next up, statehood for DC and PR to better balance the Senate.

I agree this is good news for Democrats but I really don't expect Texas to go Blue for Biden this year.

Harris County, TX (Houston) elected a new County Judge, a Dem woman who replaced a Republican who'd been in office 11 years.

She got the annual election budget increased from $4m to $34m a year. Then she appointed a 34-year-old County Election supervisor who tripled the number of early voting sites, extended daily early voting hours, rolled out curbside voting, and kept early voting open 24 hrs a day so workers whose schedules made it difficult to vote otherwise.

This is one reason TX has already broken past 2016's total vote with election day still to come ...

Local elections can have benefits or consequences that make voting easier or more difficult.

Hopefully they're joining in to curb stomp identity politics, political correctness and cancel culture. Otherwise we will get the 'dark winter' promised by Creepy Joe.

Considering the Orange ---------- isn't going to be flushed until January 2021 we're going to have a dark winter no matter what.

Trump with nothing to lose and a hard deadline on how much longer he can loot the treasury.

He's going to burn it all down on his way out the door.

"Hopefully they're joining in to curb stomp identity politics"

I love it when Deplorables don't realize that being Deplorable is a political identity.

They're really that clueless.

I hope you have your brunch reservations ready! Plenty of time to savor the flavor before stabbing the poor and people of color in their collective backs as Ds have been doing throughout their history. Creepy Joe is the perfect blunt instrument to use.
