no one really fears him anymore

Most of them are trying not to openly laugh right into his face.

"Donald is a Lame Duck; no one really fears him anymore."

Unfortunately, you are underestimating his hold on elected and appointed GOP ofiicials.

He is still "stuffing" the organs of the government, such as courts, the Fed (fortunately, the nutcase Judy Shelton didn't clear the Senate... at least, not yet) and commanding posts and crucial positions in military and security apparatus in a way that would be difficult to undo in a timely manner.

He will test his power over GOP with his stupid tweets, even after he is out of the office. And because elections were so close and unquestionably a success for GOP after all the predictions of "blue wave" and wipeout of GOP down-ballot, he will take the credit and many in Trumpworld and Trumposphere do fear that.

I was referring to the Fed, but yeah.

I don't think he will wear the mantle of "Loser" very well. He will either forget the whole thing ever happened and move on to his next scam, or just shrivel up and disappear.

He will ... move on to his next scam

If he doesn't go to prison.

He's got a "media enterprise" to start and run.

It's not in his nature to "disappear" and he can't because of all the cases pending in NY and other places. His best "next scam" is insisting that election was stolen from him (which is why he won't officially "concede") and keep his scam going. That's also his best political "defense" against legal problems - he's a "persecuted victim of the left wing" - if he can delay things for another 4 years and maybe get a Republican President / DOJ that he "blessed" in GOP primaries, things could go much better for him. Trying to disappear would only cement the "loser" case.

He's never had as much power as in the last four years, he and his crime family is not about to give it up, they'll try to keep a hold of it as long as they can.

Let's hope Trump "dynasty" doesn't stretch as far and as long as Kennedys or Clintons.

@#7 "... as long as Kennedys or Clintons."

Add Bush clan to the list.

The fed is not a gov agency. It is a private entity made up from clumps of banks. They also refuse audits. Nice!

Maybe nobody fears Donald, but I think there are still a large number of idiots who are willing to start shooting liberals on his behalf.
