Republicans in Congress are engaged in a risky but calculated bet that once President Donald Trump has exhausted his legal challenges to the election, he will come to grips with his loss to President-elect Joe Biden. But the opposite is happening.

Dems should be playing that up. Paint the entire republican party as being complicit in Trump's anti-democracy efforts. Blow up the notion of republican patriotism. Expose them for being the hypocrits that they are. Challenge republican voters to re-examine their support of the party.

Seriously, where did the Lincolns go? Did they run out of money or is it already Mission Accomplished?

@#1 ... Paint the entire republican party as being complicit in Trump's anti-democracy efforts. ...

The problem with that approach is... what does the rank and file of the Republican Party think about what Pres Trump is doing? From what I've seen more than 70% agrees with him that Pres-elect Biden has stolen the election.

So instead of suggesting the painting of the Republican Party as being complicit, you first need to convince the rank and file Republicans that their current opinion is not based in reality.

Republicans are having a crisis... support Trumps sprint over the cliff or risk his wrath now that they let him take over the party.
The right wing media on Pluto TV are all competing for that far right audience....ever time they lose they shift farther right... now even their last 2 pre-Trump president's Romney and McCain are RINOs.

I do not disagree with the part fo your comment I quoted. (I can't speak to the rest, as I do not have PlutoTV).

With that in mind...

When you say "Republicans" you need to distinguish between the Republican politicians and the rank-and-file Republican voters.

Back to your comment...

In my view, the crisis you mention is due to the rank-and-file Republican voters having a very different view than the Republican politicians.

Eventually, this dichotomy will settle out with the rank-and-file Republican voters having their way, and we will likely be seeing an increasing number of QAnon in the halls of Congress...

That sounds an awful lot like the "lock her up" chants of Trump rallies.

How do you differentiate your battle cry?

"That sounds an awful lot like the "lock her up" chants of Trump rallies."

A hunt is a hunt, whether you're hunting Anne Frank or Osama bin Laden.

Republicans hate democracy. I'm hoping that Georgia proves that democracy hates republicans.
