Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

President Donald Trump participated in his final Group of 20 summit on Saturday by tweeting throughout the opening session and skipping a special side-conference focused on the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump's pandemic preparedness is complete. He is prepared to let Americans die while he golfs.

The coronavirus has beaten Pres Trump.

Not only did the virus not do what Pres Trump wanted it to do, i.e., only attack the blue states. The virus has attacked, and continues to attack all of America.

"We are dealing with a deadly serious situation right now, and it is more important than politics and more important than partisanship. This is a war and if there is division at this time, the virus will defeat us.

"This virus doesn't discriminate -- it attacks everyone, and it attacks everywhere. There are no red states, and there are no blue states, and there are no red casualties, and there are no blue casualties. It is red, white and blue. If there was ever a moment for unity, this is it."
          - NY Gov Cuomo, March 2020

[emphasis mine]

Instead of trying to protect Americans, instead of trying to lead America...

... Pres Trump plays golf.

We will honor the American people with the truth, and nothing else.
- Candidate Trump, July 21, 2016

I love golf... but if I were in the White House ... I'd just want to stay in the White House and work my ass off.

History will remember Trump as a conman and a coward.

Trump has dropped the ball on being a "President" so many times, history may just use an asterisk and a footnote to defer the chapter between 2017 and 2020 to the back of the book.

And only then because historical reference ~~ both good and bad ~~ is important to future scholars. Hopefully they'll use the term Megalomaniac ~ a mental disorder associated with infantile delusions of self-importance ~ only one among hundreds of loose screws in Trump's head.

Trump's true cowardice will be front and center stage when he's evicted from the White House.

Knowing Trump, a grifter,(and a perpetual victim) he'll probably buy the rights and have it video taped himself for pay-for-view.

I do believe the man has set a record for days off and golf trips for a President and he did it in a single term. Hasn't attended a security briefing in well over a month.

Perhaps if he wears a tan suit Republicans will be up in arms ...

The next time he goes golfing, change the locks to the White House.

Trump Skips G20 Session on Pandemic, Goes Golfing

Honestly. Does anyone actually want Trump at the G20 Session representing America?

Personally. I'm glad he's not there.

One less embarrassment.
