Strange Metal Monolith Found in Utah Wilderness

The Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter was assisting Utah Division of Wildlife Resource officers counting bighorn sheep when the crew spotted something mysterious from above.

I like everything about this except it happened in 2020. If it was any other year I'd be thinking "oh how cool! What a great location for an art installation!" "Awesome!"

But 2020?

I'm wondering when are the aliens coming to enslave, slaughter, or eat us.

I'm still trying to figure out how the thing got buried in the rock... in isolation... out in the middle of nowhere... by whom or what... with no visible damage to the structure from its installation... without anyone ever leaving a clue to its existence... or purpose...

Weird.

The 'how it was buried' is easy.

The location makes it interesting.

It probably cost a good nickel to get the machinery to that location to install it in the rock.

I wonder how long ago it was done, and whether the person(s) responsible are even still alive to see the reaction to their prank.

Whoever or whatever did this I'm glad they did.

The sooner we get back to the normal timeline the sooner we will be ready to explore our solar system and if Intelligent life from somewhere else has ever visited earth they likely left proof of their visit on another celestial object knowing that by the time we found it we would be ready to interact with other worlds.
