It should be noted that California's attempts to put in place economy standards and also exhaust emissions standards has not hindered car sales ut has actually contributed to the success of the auto industry which was producing junk before California sort of forced them to move into the modern world.

Reagan tried that exact same lawsuit back in the 80s. It failed back then and the only reason Benedict Donald tried it again now is because he has added so many anti worker, anti breathing, pro corporate, pro the past, pro the 0.1%er judges to the Federal courts and thought maybe he could win this time.
