Ivanka Trump bragged in a tweet that greenhouse gases in the U.S. would be significantly down this year but left out the obvious reason: a horrible disease ravaged America killing hundreds of thousands, forcing millions to quarantine, decimated the economy and putting countless of Americans out of work. Due to the pandemic, fewer people boarded airplanes, drove to work, took vacations, purchased goods, etc. Not surprisingly, greenhouse gases in U.S. will decrease.
