Rich Lowry: There is no evidence that Lin Wood and Sidney Powell are secretly working for the Democratic National Committee, but no one has definitively disproved it, either.

Hopefully, Republican voters will listen to these two idiots.

Hopefully, Republican voters will gather en masse this holiday season and go to packed churches and all drop dead from the virus they don't think exists. Trump should hold a few massive mask-less rallies right before Christmas to prime the pumps.

If you're not angry then you aren't paying attention.

A letter mailed on Nov. 21 from Ohio has still not arrived here in Florida because Trump's Postmaster General has sabotaged the post office. Trump's temporary tax cut for those earning less than $70,000.00 per year is set to expire Jan. 1 while the tax cut for the rich is permanent. Continuing arms sales to Saudi Arabia so they can continue to bomb peasants in Yemen. So much more....

"Trump's temporary tax cut for those earning less than $70,000.00 per year is set to expire Jan. 1 while the tax cut for the rich is permanent"

I thought I saw something about this yesterday but I can't find any kind of story on it now.

What's the deal with a tax cut expiring?

How many days before Trump releases that Kraken? Is he really timing it to 01/19/2021? More than curiosity. I've waited all my life to see a Kraken.

Rate raises every two years starting in 2021 for those making under $70K.

"Rate raises every two years starting in 2021 for those making under $70K."

And how many Republicans and Trump supporters even know that?

#12 | Posted by danni at 2020-12-03 11:59 AM | Reply

Tax increases should be hammered home in the two Senate races in Georgia. Democrats would make the present tax rate permanent but McConnell, if he is still Majority Leader, will block that. So citizens of Georgia, if you want to pay higher taxes vote Republican, if you don't vote Democrat.

"those making under $70K"

that's what the article says but shouldn't it really say income under $70K meaning everyone making that much would be subject to this tax increase on the income under that threshhold?

#12 | POSTED BY DANNI

The probably don't.

And if Biden does nothing and the rates go up, the GOP will shamelessly say Biden is raising their taxes even though it was baked in the cake in 2017.

#6 this from the pretend liberal who votes for war every time.

#7 | POSTED BY LIVE_OR_DIE

Republicanism is currently killing more Americans that any war, and in fact, before it's over it will have killed more Americans than all the wars since the Revolution.

Exactly what war do you think the Dems want to start?

#18 | Posted by WhoDaMan at 2020-12-03 02:39 PM | Reply

Dems start picking cabinet members who have decades of experience promoting and supporting war, and pollyannas like "whodaman" think they'll be better this time around, lmao!!!

#19 | Posted by LIVE_OR_DIE at 2020-12-03 05:01 PM | Reply

1. Better than what, this time around?

2. It's pretty easy to criticize when your party never wins anything, and never gets appointed to anyone's Cabinet.

There's Snoofy's full throated defense of the Iraq War, any others?

#21 | Posted by LIVE_OR_DIE at 2020-12-03 05:15 PM | Reply

Iraq War is a great example where Democrats are better than Republicans, when it comes to not being warmongers.

#22 | Posted by snoofy at 2020-12-03 05:16 PM | Reply

Makes me wonder why some Democrats like Snoofy still defend it., but no one ever said Snoofy was smart, lol.

#23 | Posted by LIVE_OR_DIE at 2020-12-03 05:19 PM | Reply

The "establishment" Democrats aren't war mongers, they were raised during the "Cold War" and it is reflected in their binary view of the world ("free" vs "communist/socialist"). They're "cold warriers". They'll all be dead in a few years...

Besides, I don't think a Democrat can get away with starting a war today. All the Republicans would oppose it along with, probably, a majority of "rank-and-file" Democrats.

Our most recent wars were all started by Republicans, anyway.

And given votes of approval by the most powerful Democrats. Plus Obama creamed a bunch of brown kids with drones without declaring war.

"And given votes of approval by the most powerful Democrats"

That's what makes Democrats better!
They don't start wars.

Republicans started both Iraq wars.
Think about it.

I didn't say Democrats were great.
I just said they're better.

You either know that and are just trying to push our buttons.
Or you don't know it because you're a fool.

Either way is fine with me.
Enjoy your evening.

BTW, there is a significant difference between a drone strike and a war. I won't try to defend the morality of any particular drone strike, but we're talking about someone who might be provoked to take a military strike against an adversary, compared to someone who has allowed a situation to reach the point where we now have the equivalent of a "9/11"-worth of deaths every day. A democrat would have to launch a World War to get that kind of "American Carnage".

"LOL the right is making the Iraq war the Dem's problem."

Democrats overwhelmingly supported the AUMF all while having the information showing that the justification for the AUMF was a pack of lies. Rahm Emanuel and the DNC attacked any politician or Democratic candidate who thought it necessary to point that out.

But even if we go ahead and allow that they were just naive, ignorant, and incompetent at the time you can argue that it wasn't their fault, but it is certainly their problem. Especially at any time they have the presidency and/or a majority in the legislature.
