Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Thursday, December 03, 2020

The Bulwark commentator Amanda Carpenter spoke with CNN's Brianna Keilar Thursday about the GOP now being the party of Trump's lies and conspiracy theories: "Mitch McConnel can keep staying silent. I think we give him too much credit when he stays silent. There's like this built in assumption that Republicans are just scared of Donald Trump's base. I think it's something different. I actually think they're okay with it. I think they're down with it. Because when I look at all the escalating threats of violence -- and this is really my bright line -- the threats of violence and the attacks on the democratic system. When you look at something like Charlottesville or the egging on of militia men in Michigan or the fact that people make a hero out vigilantes in Kenosha and you don't say anything for this long -- I have to think you're supportive of it and I would love for Mitch McConnel to go to the camera and prove me otherwise."

It's called tacit approval, the fact that they don't say otherwise means they're down to clown with Orange Hitler and his authoritarian crew. However, this way, when things invariably go bad, they'll challenge you to find video of them approving of this behavior.

The Republican party has been the party of the rich since at least the 1880s. But there are not enough rich to win elections so they've been propagandizing the masses for over 100 years. And that propaganda has gotten more and more strident and bizarre over the last 40 years or so.
But now the crazies that they have been encouraging and fostering have in many ways taken over their party.

So now the dilemma for the 0.1%ers is how to get their party back from the crazies without losing those crazies for the next election.

Now I have no doubt those 0.1%ers can pull that off in time for the next presidential election in 2024. They've done it before after Nixon and Bush so they can do it again.

But the problem is they can't pull that off before the Georgia run off elections. And that is a very real problem for them.

As tax cuts for those earning less than $70,000 expire on Jan. 1 while tax cuts for the rich are permanent Maverick, again, makes a fool of himself. How many times in one year can that clown make himself look like an utter fool?

Reagan killed the middle class

#10 | Posted by hamburglar at 2020-12-04 08:37 AM | Reply | Newsworthy 1

Reagan committed treason to get elected when he convinced the Ayatollah of Iran to hold American hostages until after the election which the Ayatollah did do as reported by the then President of Iran at great risk to his own life and freedom. The hostage crisis did destroy Carter's chances of winning and also placed Reagan on the list of traitors who should have been in prison instead of the WH. Today, Jimmy Carter is more respected than any other ex-president, in his 90's he still builds houses for Habitat for Humanity.

How much are your taxes going up Jan 1, Danni?

Are you saying people making $71K aren't getting a tax increase?

Infinite.

It's not about the real to people like MAVERICK, it's about loyalty.

He's loyal to Trump. His brain trails behind.

LOL. Are people still pretending that the grifter ghouls over at the Lincoln Project haven't always been advocates for a kinder gentler dismantling of democracy?

We are watching. And so is the world.

Gawd you're stupid! Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook are PRIVATE ENTITIES! They clearly post their standards of conduct, and they give Cancervatives tremendous latitude, warning them, then temporary bans before they finally ban them. Dotard should have been banned from Twitter long ago, but they have a special exception allowing him to violate their rules with almost every tweet. Facebook and YouTube are much the same. You have to be really egregious with your violations in order for one of these platforms to ban you. How long did it take YouTube to finally ban hate-monger, liar, DBag, Alex Jones? He was warned over and over before they finally pulled the plug.

"OMG!

Yeah. No. Nice try tho.

The Democratic Party is the party of the working class.

And Unions.

Republicans are for Trumpy and his Tax cuts for the rich and deregulation.

Unfortunately for Trumpy he failed at making a party with no platform that worships only him succeed.

The Republicans decided that the party should acquiesce to one individual's vision of political community. Indeed, the 2020 resolution "ruled out of order" any effort to adopt a platform.

And they lost the White House with that plan.

So do try try again!

Their platform, their rules.

Bigger issue for discussion should be why one side of the political spectrum is so off the mark that it's their content being regularly removed.

"Research." Sure, numbnuts.

How effing stupid does one have to be to regurgitate that line of nonsense then have the gall to tell others they're uninformed?

"How effing stupid does one have to be to regurgitate that line of nonsense"

It is good tho to have a representative from the "stupid party" try and explain themselves to the rest of us. We need to listen to them. Obama says so!

Obama says that Mav is like an ambassador from another dimension. The crazy dimension. We need to be nice to them. They are cultists suffering from the loss of their cult leader. Like leaves in the wind we need to rake them up and help them find a new meaning for their lives. Or put them all in a pile a torch them.

It could still go either way.

The Washington Post
@washingtonpost
The Post asked every GOP member of Congress this week three basic questions, including: "Who won the election?"

The results:
Just 25 acknowledge Biden's win.
Two of them said Trump had won.
222 of them were unclear or did not answer.
