Democrats' Push to Investigate Trump Won't Stop

Democrats in Congress are still intent on investigating President Donald Trump and his administration after he leaves office, including a pursuit of Trump's tax returns, a drive that threatens to complicate President-elect Joe Biden's pledges of bipartisan unity since he won the election.

We have an obligation to, at the very least, examine where and how Trump worked on behalf of the Russian government and organized crime. These are national security issues.

Given the ----- that Trump will make of himself after he leaves office, I would suspect that many (most?) repubs are secretly hoping that the dems, as well as NYC and NY State, are successful in prosecuting his butt. Successfull prosecutions won't deter his most ardent supporters, but many Trump voters will be so turned off by the revelations that they will want nothing more to do with him or his progeny.

A good post. Trump's fanatics will never increase, only dwindle. And a lot of mean and nasty Republicans want their shot in 2024 at the expense of Trump. Who hasn't a true friend in the world, if he hasn't yet noticed.

My guess would be that soon after Jan 20, the then fmr Pres Trump announces he is running in 2024.

That will give him four years of rallies and tweets to further divide the Country.

My guess, is that within 3 weeks of Trump no longer having
Presidential Privilege, he will be indicted on a number of
counts by the state of NY...

My guess would be he will announce he is running ON Jan 20th. WHILE Biden is being sworn in. Since he won't be attending the inauguration

Investigating illegal acts should not harm bi-partisan unless one of the parties is okay with crimes being committed by their leader. They shouldn't.

There has been a steady stream of such revelations since 2016. By the fact that Donald got more than 74 million vote, I'd say it didn't and won't deter those who voted for him in the least.

The best thing the Dems can do for the GOP is remove the orange ----------- and his grifting family from polite society, straight into the greybar hotel. As long as Dotard is free, he will continue to hold the party hostage as he maintains control over the racist Trumpublican base. As long as he continues to publically ponder a 2024 run he keeps the other potential candidates locked from raising money and setting up their campaign organizations.

Problem for you is, he doesn't.
