President Trump has a negative 33 - 60 percent job approval rating, which is a substantial drop from the negative 44 - 51 percent rating he received in December of 2020. The president's job approval rating today ties his all-time low, which he received in August of 2017.

~30% is the basement approval rating for people like this. Don't expect it to go any lower.

Per 538, Rasmussen still clocks Trump in at 49 favorable / 50 unfavorable. I guess, like the 'old' Stephen Colbert, they are asking: "President Trump: great president, or the GREATEST president?"

If only Trumpy would slide right into that abyss with them abysmal poll numbers.

That would be ok with me.

13-Jan-21
Approve: 46%
Disapprove: 53%

(538 looks to be using old info, i.e., Jan 7)

It's one of the reasons why I tend to avoid 538 poll stats.

538 tends to add too much of their "special sauce" to the results, which makes them, at times, more reflective of what 538 thinks than what the public thinks. But 538 does generate a lot of page hits for its Disney parent.

imo, of course. :)

As I have said so many times there will be 1/3 of this country behind him no matter what.

What I find strange about what's happened these past six or so months...

If Pres Trump had not gone off on the tangent of trying to invalidate the election, he could have left office with better approval ratings and a far better legacy than the one he has created or himself over these past few months.

That leads me to ponder whether Pres Trump was of the opinion that he could actually pull off the coup attempt.

And that leads me to ponder about his rationality.....

" That leads me to ponder whether Pres Trump was of the opinion that he could actually pull off the coup attempt."

All the facts of that day line up with that assumption.

I have no doubt he didn't think he anything to lose, and if it failed he'd deny inciting it.

If the election were held again today, I'd bet Trump would still pull more than 70 million votes.

tRump is terrified of what will happen to him and his family when he's stripped of any presidential power.
I say good. That fat lazy traitor doesn't deserve to see the light of day after all this absolute BS about the election.

Yet another one of his unpresidented accomplishments - the only president in modern history to never poll over 50%.

Heckuva job, Trumpie!

33% of deplorable dead weight around the neck of the country.
