Online misinformation about election fraud plunged 73 percent after several social media sites suspended President Trump and key allies last week, research firm Zignal Labs has found, underscoring the power of tech companies to limit the falsehoods poisoning public debate when they act aggressively.

I don't want to hear anything about freedom of speech. Trump and his key allies were screaming the equivalent of FIRE in a crowded theater. They got their stampede and five people died. I hope they get charged with accessory to murder.

In the meantime, social media has silenced the stream of misinformation that lit the torches that started the wildfire that tried to consume the country.

Hopefully, radicalized cultists will now starve to death for lack of misinformation to feed their cause. Or they'll adopt someone else to follow . . . another crazed authoritarian with delusions of unfettered power . . . to lead the Republican Party on their march to one party rule forever.

Frankly, the cl0wns set this one up with their capitalistic ideals. They actively supported and created an atmosphere for private businesses to have the right to monopolize source plus supply, get a tax break in the process, and all before refusing service to whomever the hell they please.

You know... the $#!+ that fuels competition (snark) but mostly lines their pockets.
