QAnon isn't doing this to the republican party. Any non trump republicans did this to themselves. QAnon is only as big as it is BECAUSE of the republican parties past willingness to support cooks like this as long as they voted republican.

Smanch I agree with your comment but I think you meant kooks not cooks. No big deal though I got your drift.

Qanon was only able to to do this because rush limbaugh and rupert murdoch rotted their brains for years first, with delusions about the deep state and the media and the clintons.

And because the GOP wants our schools to suck as much as possible because smart people won't vote for them.

The GOP is destroying the GOP from within. QAnon is just one of the tools. So is Donald Trump.

Republicans in Congress won't be getting a good night's sleep because of the idiots like Lindell and others who believe QAnon and other conspiracy rubbish. And their rabid support of Dotard.

I think you're right, QAnon is just a means to an end. Party leaders see a shrinking base because of demographic changes, along with a sense that many Fox-fed Republican Party members perceived mainline Republicans as weak and too willing to compromise with the evil Democrats. So they have to keep their base riled, even if it's based on lies from liars such as QAnon, Alex Jones and Trump. Eventually there will be a reckoning, or at least a split into two parties, but God only knows how long it will take.

I think you're right, too. Trump rocked the boat but he didn't sink it. He needed another term to do that. These QAnon attacks always seemed (to me) to be an ego-salving trip for Trump. That's to say, he was wreaking revenge on his party for costing him the election, the impeachment, his upcoming convictions and his power. They took everything from him.

I know people are calling January 6 a coup attempt or an insurrection. If it was, then everybody involved underguestimated the difficulty of the job.

Trump is so sick in the head, I think he sent that pack of dogs in there to kill the people he thinks are the cause of his downfall ~~ at the end, even his Vice President.

And I don't think he's done. I think he'll try it again.

We're both hard-wired for rebellion and obedience at the same time. Usually with time, age, and experience you learn to control those impulses. Some do not and become wannabe traitors...taking on the mantle of the little guy, while actually being wolves in sheeps' clothing.

Trump is the best thing to have ever happened to the Democratic party.

"Trump is so sick in the head"

He's not.

He's a reality TV star.

He's an entertainer. Publicity is his end-state. And he's done that more effectively than any president in history.

Trump is the best thing to have ever happened to the Democratic party.

In the same way one might say, "cancers is the best thing to happen to an obese individual."

"Trump is so sick in the head"

He's not.

Yes, he is.

Thanks for sharing, QAnon.

Sasse: QAnon Destroying the GOP from Within

Hey Ben! The GOP has been riding the crazy train from some time now. Now it's out in the open and out of control, you want the GOP to get off? Sorry, but it doesn't work like that. Ron Paul has already told you that 1/3 of the republican party would be lost if you did that.

Trump is absolutely not normal. He is not mentally healthy. I suppose one could argue about how many of the recognized mental disorders he has, but to say he is merely an entertainer trivializes the serious damage he has done to the state of our democracy, as well as to the physical and emotional well-being of our fellow Americans. I have no doubt that our country would not have gone through even half the pain and suffering it did in 2020 with even the next-worst choice, such as Pence, in office instead of Trump.

If I recall, the next worse choice was Hillary Clinton.

I don't know what else you'd call it. Everybody heard what Trump said about Mike Pence. It's no coincidence that the crowd was chanting "Find Mike Pence" ~ "Hang Mike Pence."

They built a scaffold ~ with a platform and a hangman's noose.

Trump wanted them to murder his own Vice President ~~ So yes, that's sick!
