"Presidents' words are important. They weigh a ton," Pelosi said about Trump, who continuously stoked false claims of widespread election fraud on Twitter and encouraged supporters to march to the Capitol in a fiery speech given at a "Save America" rally not long before rioters stormed the building. "And they used his words to come here."

"The Speaker went a step further and said that if it were proven that some members of Congress collaborated with members of the group that attacked the Capitol, they " as well as Trump " would be accessories to crimes committed during the insurrection.

"And the crime, in some cases, was murder," Pelosi said. "And this president is an accessory to that crime because he instigated that insurrection that caused those deaths and this destruction."

And still crickets when it comes to the Dem politicians who supported AND encouraged killings this year. Pick a freaking side. Stop ignoring your own party's faults because it would make them seem less than perfect.

Who?

Or are you doing your usual presentation of GOP talking points as stooshy whataboutism?

@#5 ... And still crickets when it comes to the Dem politicians who supported AND encouraged killings this year. ...

I don't remember seeing or hearing any Democrats encouraging or supporting the insurrection that fmr Pres Trump incited.

Do you have any evidence of Democrats doing that?

Or is the existence of that evidence analogous to the [non-]existence of the voter fraud evidence that fmr Pres Trump and his allies were proffering?

No need.

They're just the usual contrarians. They come and go around here. Sort of like people you know who don't bathe regularly and also has halitosis.

"They're just the usual contrarians."

We could call it the "Heyoka Flag". But they don't really need a flag. They are usually painfully obvious. And they do have their purpose in life.

The Lakota Peoples called them the heyoka.

The sacred clowns.

The heyoka (heyka, also spelled "haokah," "heyokha") is a kind of sacred clown in the culture of the Sioux (Lakota and Dakota people) of the Great Plains of North America. The heyoka is a contrarian, jester, and satirist, who speaks, moves and reacts in an opposite fashion to the people around them.

Totally. Remind me real quick which democratic leader was telling democrats to overthrow the government and stop democracy... I must have missed that one. Otherwise, great false equivalency. Here's a cookie. I mean a ruble.
