First day - and an amazing start.
Thank god we have an adult in the White House.

Who was president before Biden, and after Obama? I've already forgotten that person, like a bad dream or a fart...

Good. And I hope Trump blows away like a fart in the wind.

This is the precedent set by Reps. They were the first to really start complaining about Obama's number of executive orders, and Reps whined like babies about them. Then Trump came along and beat him, and Dems whined like babies about them. And now Biden is already starting the race on day 1 to beat out Trump. It's only a matter of time before Reps start whining like babies again.

In the meantime, the actual premise of why executive orders can be bad just gets pushed further and further under the rug.

Well we need occasional updates on the pit of misery in which he now lives just for laughs. I'm sure the paparazzi will be "Keeping up with the Kushners" for the rest of time.

If you think executing orders are a bad system of government, wait til you hear about how your amount of personal political power depends on which state you're born in. One branch of government gives 10000x more voting power to people in certain states than people in other states. Crazy huh?

The orange turd may not be President any more, but the damage he did will be around for a long time.

Executive order on racial equality and underserved communities...

...may as well have just gone and finished building Trump's wall.

Why? Do you think we're too stupid to tell the difference between helping people and lighting money on fire for a con man's ego like you are?

Looks like Joe is wasting no time picking our pockets. I had hoped that a moderate liberal would understand the long-term consequences of Socialistic spending.

We'll all be missing #45 in a couple of years after we've been taxed out of our jobs...

Roads, libraries, national parks and monuments, Washington DC, hospitals, schools, universities, practically all country-wide infrastructure, rail roads, dams, municipal water works and sewage draining, trash pick-up, fire departments, police, ambulance paramedics and EMTs, vaccines and booster shots for kids. All gratis by the government.

Socialism-Communism is when the government tells you where to go to work, what you will be paid, and tells you which apartment you will live in and in some cases, how many kids you can have.

Learn this.

None of that is gratis.

In Communism the government doesn't tell you where to work in most cases. However, unemployment is illegal and the government will create make-work if that's what it takes for you to have a job.

I got my info first hand from a PhD Russia woman I used to work with. She reminded me of Eva Gabor in her speech and looks. She was dumbfounded by the workplace environment and called it worse than the Russian mob. She had to learn to pay water bills, electricity/gas bills, rent, etc. She was shocked electricity was $300/month in the summer. A few of us took her under our wings and showed her how the American-style free-enterprise-capitalist system worked. She was used to getting a paycheck once a month in Russia and would spend it all in a few days. She had to learn to not do that here. Since we have to pay for everything to a Capitalist, She was even more shocked at the health-care system and said it was better in Russia than in the US. I learned a lot from her. We had a small celebration in the lab when she finally got her green card. She was very cultured, but naive as hell. She didn't even know how to drive and we took turns helping her learn it well enough to take the test and get her drivers' license. She bought a cheap car and finally was able to drive herself to work. She lived in an apartment complex on the same street as me and it was easy to drop in on each other. Like Socrates said in the beginning of Republic: "To the homes of the good, the good go unbidden."

Please excuse me for being a last-word=freak, but it's as if we're singing out of the same hymnal, but on different pages. Unfortunately, I've become more and more cynical each year. But I don't want to reach the point where I can't trust anyone and assume they're out to cheat me. That's the beginning of paranoia. One of my girlfriends in college, who has a Masters in Psychology gave me the MMPI and all the rest of the psychological tests at the time and said everything looked good except there was a small bump in the paranoia category. But, she also said most people who go to college have that same bump. It reminds me of an old Simpsons episode where Homer is entering the front gates of the college and underneath the college's name was the phrase something like "Enter and be afraid."

Here are the 30 executive orders and actions Biden will sign in his first three days

Hearing Biden speak from the WH... well, it's just going to take some time to get used to a grown-up speaking.
