Weeping Willowby's hero Trump sets the nation on a dangerous trajectory of being unable to respond to Covid.... and that's Joe Bidens' Fault?

Biden has already done more in a few days to start turning the problem around than Trump ever did.

Of course, Trumpers aren't used to hearing the truth from the WH about any problems, only Trump's lies about how everything is fine.

Trump is suck a d**k!!:

Apparently, on his way out the door, Trump fired the White House Chief Usher " and sent all the staff home " so that no one was there to open the White House door when the Bidens arrived.

https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/trumps-fired-wh-chief-usher-on-their-way-out-the-door

AND
The NYT reports that "Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff, was unhappy with [Chief Usher] Mr. Harleth for trying to send briefing books about the residence to the Biden transition team in November, people familiar with the process said."
Ya, what a f-ing d***!!

WILLOWBY

Your hero is an incompetent, petulant d**k.

400,000+ Americans dead, thanks to him. 4-5 times the case and death rate of our allies except the UK, who have their own d*** who didn't take measures until he got sick and experienced near death for himself.

I hope Joe Biden is wrong and this is as bad as it gets.

Fauci said if 85% of Americans get the shot by the end of summer, it could be a "normal" fall.

Fauci also took time to explain it's not just any old 85%. People in remote areas will have a much harder time getting vaccinated.

This is a situation where the normal health disparities we're all used to can actually compromise herd immunity.

Only a Democrat administration would act on that kind of information.

It's not just getting the vaccine to people it's the people refusing to take it. I knew there was some but when I was working on a fireplace for a lady on the pandemic response team for my state we were chatting and she said that is a major issue.

People who should be getting the vaccine and won't, especially when they take a load out of the freezer so they HAVE to be used then, and a bunch of the people who were supposed to get it won't. She said it's bad enough that if you have some free time go to a vaccine center and hang out. There is a decent chance you can get one because they are now operating on the instructions to just get shots in arms.

She was very frustrated but I did make her happier both by getting her a working fireplace and by responding when she said I don't know how we can handle all the people who won't get a vaccine "won't Darwin handle them?" She is not as brutal as me so she disagreed but did admit the sentiment is tempting to those trying to get this under control.

WILLOUGBY doesn't know how to handle the truth.

Trump was prepared to let two million of us die. That Joe Biden was elected likely saved your miserable fascist life.

We all knew the course for the pandemic was set for the near future.
And of course the normal clear thinking Americans KNEW that Biden could not do a thing to change that even starting on day ONE.
I blame peasant thump.

Phester is just like the Republicans were in 2008. They wouldn't take any responsibility for the Great Recession and they wouldn't give Obama any credit for leading us out of it. But, with their gratitude or not, he did and so will Joe Biden lead us out of the Trump pandemic that he purposely ignored because he is an egotistical maniac that thought "herd immunity" would safe us. Thank God that lunatic is not leading our nation any longer.

I believe my wife and I, as old people at 74, are eligible for the magical vaccine; but there's none available. Trump's Operation Warp Speed was a cruel joke on us all. We're good though, going out infrequently for food and meds, wearing butt-prints into the couch in front of the TV.

Thanks be to Her Noodliness for Netflix, Prime, and Hulu+!

We met up with the kids once, for an outdoor picnic with social distancing and NO hugs last September. We are ending our 47th week of self-quarantine. We have separate home offices and separate computers, otherwise one of us might be dead by now!

I am concerned...,did Trump make his tee-time at Mara-Lardo on 1/20?

The first step to overcoming a problem is recognizing the problem. So this admission is disturbing but encouraging at the same time.

Right, which is why it sure seems like this is never going away. Even after the global pandemic subsides, there will be isolated outbreaks (epidemics) for the rest of our lives.

Awww poor willowby.

Too ignorant to know that the momentum of this thing would mean even with 100% full lockdown today it would take at least a month for peak to be reached and crossed.

All the data you can read right now is at least two weeks behind actual.

Looks like Willowby and Gracie are both dumb as rocks. No wonder they still support Trump.

"There's nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months," Biden said."

Do you understand that it's going to take time to administer the vaccine to everyone in America.

That still, to this day, despite all the warnings of the dangers of covid, people still don't take the necessary precautions to wear masks and socially distance themselves from others.

Yes. It's going to take time. At least until September. To get the majority of America vaccinated.

Meanwhile. The Trump administration hadn't secured enough vaccines for all Americans and as of yesterday none of you dumb fkkking Trump supporters would acknowledge covid exists.

At least Biden's Presidency has you actually giving a fkkk about covid.

There is the concern current vaccines will not be as effective.

A full lockdown would do just that.

The problem is that people won't do it. Not in America. We value our freedom more than the lives of our fellow Americans.

I mean, if you couldn't figure that out from the insane number of gun deaths and killings by police, you're really just not paying attention.

The trajectory the Spanish Flu took 100 years ago was bound to repeat itself, and even more so since we're such a mobile world now compared to the days of ship and train travel only.

Sadly, the reason it's reached this level is because of the same sorts of people there were back in 1918-1919 who wouldn't wear masks or comply with simple mitigation measures either. And an American leader whose only thoughts have been for himself and what's good for him.

Many morons continue to believe this pandemic will never reach their door. The wait won't be long.

#41 | Posted by AMERICANUNITY at 2021-01-24 03:42 AM | Reply

America,

"who wouldn't wear masks or comply with simple mitigation measures"

We have to go out and buy gas, get food, buy things we need, visit friends, see family. We can't live isolated indefinitely.

Unless you just sit in and stay in your house 24/7, you still are getting mail delivered. The postman is touching your mailbox. The rate of transmission is extremely low through touching surfaces but it is still not zero.

Even with vaccines, the effective rate is not 100%.

Covid is going to be with us for many more years. The death rate will decline but will still be high enough, the world as we knew it 2 years ago is a long time off where we feel safe going out in public. People with medical problems will be at a higher risk for many years to come.

People who say covid can be eliminated if we followed "mitigation measures" are living in some fantasy world. They are probably still calling this "Trump's virus".

btw...you do know "Spanish Flu" is a misnomer? The first reported cases were in Kansas and believed soldiers might have carried it during WWI.

I've been saying that since way back when people compare America to other countries and blame the government for everything.

No...Americans just are different from people in other countries.

Most other countries are "country proud" and think cohesively.

Not so in the US. Not anymore. The "melting pot" isn't blending. It's turned into a pot of left overs and rotting meat.

We don't think cohesively about much except hating this or that group, celebrity worship and believing the latest PR and propaganda.

Other than that we sit around feeling entitled or idolizing what we own.

Just over a year ago, I called both of my adult kids, and told them I could get sick and die in two weeks, counting from NOW at any time, and assured them I would always love them and be thinking of them, no matter what. Here we are, a year later, and the pandemic continues to take people, either with more victims or more victims at an increasing rate. More sickness? Better reporting? I don't know. I have lost touch with many friends. Some have gone to Facebook, and we sometimes chat and even exchange Email. My wife of over fifty years and I are in self-lockdown, about to enter the 47th week of Netflix on the couch in front of the TV, with no end in sight. My wife and I exchange hugs more frequently, and hold hands in front of the TV. The whole thing has a sort of "On The Beach" vibe, if you ask me.
