Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Saturday, January 23, 2021

"The Trumps sent the butlers home when they left so there would be no one to help the Bidens when they arrived," one unnamed source, described as "a well-placed official not associated with the incoming Biden team," told the latter publication. The NYT reports that "Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff, was unhappy with [Chief Usher] Mr. Harleth for trying to send briefing books about the residence to the Biden transition team in November, people familiar with the process said."

Trump not only fired the WH chief usher but other staff as well, just to stick it to the Bidens.

Trump has shown America how a man with a small penis can be a huge d*** the likes of which we've never seen.

Kim Jong-Un and Xi had that figured out ~~ the smaller the penis, bigger the mouth.

From watching British TV, it's the responsibility of a leaving party to give the butler a wad of cash for taking care of them. Of course Trump has no class. He's a petulant child.

Just when you think this lowlife can't get any lower, he trumps himself once again!

I hope and trust that the Bidens hired these people back immediately.

The entire Trump family are so many low-lifes.

Yes, that an unpopular narcissist criminal can be installed into the United States Presidency by the electoral college.

He fired the staff. They performed with dignity and deserve better.

It's a tough job to qualify for, and I imagine even harder in the environment that Trump generates.

But look at this for what it is. This was pre-meditated, he knew he was going to fire everyone and left them completely unaware. This must have been a tough secret to keep, but how interesting that it was. I believe Donald does understand the impact of betrayal. This isn't his first time doing this act. He cruelly attacked all of the innocent people to cause distress to Joseph. Personally. It was his very own personal punitive act and knowingly impacts possibly hundreds of innocent people - but he doesn't care what they think or feel, or how anyone else sees this nasty deed. Even a President shouldn't have such capability to foil transition, but Donald was clearly never a real President.

His firing of the staff just shows us that he is incapable of even considering them to be people. He sees them a tools that he can use as he wishes. He does not think of them as human beings just like him and his family.

A real problem for America, George W. Bush assumed the Presidency the same way, with disastrous results. We have a problem in our Constitution that we need to fix. No more wars for oil, no more governance by people who don't actually give a crap about the American people (Trumps). We need leaders like Joe Biden, he may not be the most clever or the most brilliant but he cares about us, he is going to do everything he can to help Americans overcome this pandemic. I wish we had him as our leader sooner but we do now and I am thankful for him. Thank God the reign of Donald Trump and his horrible family is over. I hope Queen Elizabeth extends another invitation for a state dinner to President Biden so that he can show her that this President is not trying to pretend he is the leader of a royal family like Trump did. I swear, I was so embarrassed for our nation when he dragged his grifting family along on a state visit, it was just ridiculous.

The Trumps got invited for tea. (eventually) The Queen kept them waiting and didn't even remove her gloves. (as in "let's get this over with.") It was a royal snub.

President Obama and his wife got the grand tour, dinner and overnight accommodations at Buckingham Palace.

I'd say the message was loud and clear.

"So sad to watch someone all ate up..."

Why the sad face trumper?? Or is that just more fakery ?

Isn't that the ideological goal of trumpism?

Hate and intolerance of the "other"?

Seems to me you should be saying "Mission Accomplished!".

America has been successfully divided.

Break out the champagne.

Nostrovia Comrade!

WRONG! The Gross Old Pedophile party has made it clear that the only way President Biden will get unity in Washington is for him to pursue continued Trumpublican anti-American policies. So, President Biden and the Democrats need to tear down every last piece of Dotard's legacy (pretty easy job since he took care of about 25% of it on day one; fixing the judiciary and weeding all the Trumpers from government service will take longer) and pass significant, expansive, popular legislation that will help Americans; $15 minimum wage, public option, Covid relief, voting rights, DC and PR statehood, police accountability, climate action, green energy, infrastructure. Do that, and Dems will steamroll the White Nationalist party in 2022 and 2024.

He did that just so there was nobody there to open the door for Joe and Jill when they got to the WH. JFC, did Dotard leave gum on the resolute desk too? The head usher was a Trumper, and he probably came up with this scheme, since Combover Quizling is too stupid and narcissistic to understand the significance of sending the ushers home for the day.
