On Jan. 3, GOP Rep. Pete Sessions tweeted that he had a great meeting with "folks from 'Stop the Steal'" and that he "encouraged them to keep fighting." Tweet was deleted 4 days later, on Jan. 7, after insurrectionists stormed the Capitol.

Somebody needs to go up to Pete and say "so why did you delete your stop the steal tweet Pete? Are you ashamed of yourself? Well, you should be!"

Pete needs to resign. Everyone that encouraged or enabled the insurrection need to resign from office or be removed from office, they are criminals.

I marvel at the abject stupidity of people like Pete Sessions ~~ who leave a trail of cookie crumbs right back to their own participation in a coup attempt.

Maybe that's what passes for "smart" in Texas. DUH!

It seems Americans are not willing to actually realize that it was a coup attempt. Most Americans seem willing to see the attack on our capital, during a joint session of Congress, as a minor infraction of our rules of behavior when, in fact, it was a full blown attempt at overthrowing our government. The people involved were totally willing to kill anyone necessary and were only thwarted by the police sent there from Maryland and Virginia. Were it not for them we would now be living under a dictatorship. This stuff isn't pretend playtime, this was the real McCoy, those people wanted to overthrow the elected government and still so many sort of act as if it wasn't a big deal. The perpetrators need to be sent to prison for a very long time. This was a huge deal, this was the closest we have ever come to having our nation ruled by dictators. We need to make an example of them, no mercy for them. I won't recommend the death penalty because I don't believe in the death penalty but every penalty up to it should be invoked.

Investigate the nature of those meetings and where.

If he was showing any of them around the capitol its expulsion time.

#6 | POSTED BY DANNI-The last time this country got mad was the late 60's/early 70's when I was 20 and protesting war, racial injustice and equality for women. Ever since my generation (the greediest) took over in 1992 it has been a cluster F, with the exception of Pres. Obama. It takes "The People" to get teed off and makes things happen as it did back then, but this citizenry has gotten so apathetic there's a good chance that trump will rise again, as he put it "in some form". Unless the people make their voices heard and bombard congress and the White House on this issue, and the Biden admin. drops a wrecking ball on each and every seditionist, we'll lose.
