More than two-thirds of Americans approve of President Joe Biden's coronavirus response during his first week in office, according to a new ABC News/ Ipsos poll released Sunday. The survey noted that 69 percent of Americans back Biden's COVID-19 response, including 97 percent of Democrats, 40 percent of Republicans, and 70 percent of independent

"According to the new poll, the president's mask mandate was supported by 81 percent of the Americans surveyed. Nearly all Democrats surveyed (99 percent) backed the mandate. The majority of Republicans (59 percent) and independents (83 percent) also supported the federal mask order.

Biden also halted the U.S. withdrawal from the World Health Organization (WHO) during his first night in office, after the Trump administration accused the organization of being under the "total control" of China.

About 70 percent of those surveyed said they supported Biden's decision to rejoin the WHO."

Are they responding to the part where masks are mandatory at Federal Parks except for the president and his family?

"69 Percent Approve"

The 31% who don't approve are the 77% of Republicans who think Trump won.

Oh yeh!

69 is the sex number!

Nice.

You mean Fat Nixon's saying that we have a vaccine yet failing to have a plan to deliver or even order more doses doesn't cut it?

Elect a reality show, get a reality show.

All talk, no action.

69 Percent Approve Biden's ... Response

Nice.

There was action. The action was attempted sabotage of Biden's Presidency. You think the lack of vaccines available today is an accident? Grow up.

Biden is doing a good job so far. Its actually nice reading the news and seeing what hes attempting. Gonna take a bit to get used to not like the idiot we just got rid of.

Shows that there was a hunger for leadership and frankly something other than Trump's disastrous laziness.

He just, ON RECORD, stated there was nothing he could do to stop the trajectory of covid. Dems spent months saying what needed to be done and now all of a sudden the top Dem is saying nothing can be done. I mean, of course DR Libs will come on here and say stuff like "He meant..." or something, but then that would make them complete and undeniable hypocrites (we already know they are but having undeniable proof is always fun) because Trump said things and Reps responded with "He meant..." and Dems went nuts every time and never believed anything they didn't already have their mind made up about.

So Biden can't do anything to stop the trajectory after Dems spent most of the year saying Trump is bad. Well, at least Trump did something and there is evidence of it. So, technically, Biden has started off his Presidency as already worse at his job than Trump. That is a really bad thing considering how bad Trump was...

The top Democrat is now doing what can and should be done.

How many friends have you lost to COVID? Not enough not be stupid?

HUMTAKE, you live in some sort of fantasy space, like any Trumpite. Reality is something other people will save you from, because frankly my man you don't have a clue.

At least trump did something?

He sure did. He lied about the virus to the country, mocked mask wearing, didn't fix the supply issue, and got hundreds of thousands killed. The "evidence of it" is in our morgues and cemetaries.

The one helpful thing he DID do - telling pharmas to GO FAST - was obvious, and any president would have done it. But any competent president would have followed up with a distribution plan. Trump had NONE. Why not?

That's silly.

It's like watching the opening credits to a movie and asking, "how's the movie?".

I know, right?
Trump's first day in office: 0 COVID-19 deaths.
Biden's first day in office: 4,370 COVID-19 deaths!

In your example Biden has done more for the country in the open credits than Trumpy did in his whole movie.

"That's silly."

But it didn't stop Fox News from critiquing and harping on everything Biden did in first few hours as though he was already ruining the country.

#23 | Posted by donnerboy at 2021-01-26 10:31 AM | Reply

The thing is that ANY positive response Biden makes is better than Trumpy's constant stream of lies.

And even in the opening credits you can tell it's going to be way better than the last movie you saw there.

Why do you think trump created zero vaccine distribution plan?

Speak,

Today I was watching Biden on the news.

He sounded so sincere.

"I promise I will continue to make more promises."

Let's see how Biden handles the mutations coming out and the fact in 6 months everyone who has been vaccinated will be out of date and need boosters.

However he handles it, it will be a million times better than the moron whose only strategy was to lie and wish the virus to go away. Your stupid sociopathic cult leader didn't even bother creating a vaccine distribution program as part of his "warp speed" project.

Why should Biden handle that?
Until last week you said it was fifty governor's jobs to handle that.
What changed?

Speak,

for the record...I don't for one second wish Biden can't deal with it.

I hope things go smoothly.

My only point is that an approval rating this early in his tenure is worthless.
