"We are committed to seeing this through no matter how many people it takes, how many days it takes us or the resources we ... need to get it done," said Steven D'Antuono, the assistant director in charge of the FBI's Washington Field Office.

The investigation update, just shy of three weeks since the riot, comes as the U.S. Congress moves forward with an article of impeachment against Trump, whom Democrats and some Republicans accuse of having incited the deadly Jan. 6 event.

The acting U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C., Michael Sherwin, told reporters that the investigators have opened over 400 subject case files so far, although in some instances, authorities are still working to pin down the identity of the suspect."

Comey was saying a week or two ago that this is exactly what the FBI is really good at.

If they went inside the building they engaged in insurrection and their punishment needs to be swift brutal and public.

Joe Scarborough this morning: "Call these people what they are, Trump terrorists. Call them by their name."

Wanna collect these criminals? Post a bounty on the heads of each of them. Publish a pic, name, general location and amount offered. These creeps will come rolling in, given up by parents, children, spouses, co-workers, fellow travelers and guys named "Dog". Hell, some of these will turn themselves in, thinking they will get a slice of the pie for doing so...

They must all face consequences.

A 'Violent Insurrection' without severe consequences to all who participated, is a really just a called a 'Training Exercise".

Good, send them all to a 3rd world country prison.

And yet, there still isn't any Dem denouncing the insurrectionists destroying other government buildings. So funny how that works. Again, you can't prove me wrong. Other people are destroying government buildings. Dems haven't said anything since it started in June-ish. So all you will be able to answer with is "That is so true, we need to start denouncing insurrections across the board" or "Hate hate hate hate hate". One helps America recover and improve while the other hurts America and its people. It's your time to swallow your pride and choose which side you will be on.

Poppycock. Now go sharpen your spear to hunt for cops at the next terrorist attack.

But I hope the Dems subpoena every one of them to testify at the impeachment hearing about how tRump told them to start a civil war. Be fun watching the GOPpers call them liars and demand they go to jail, especially since the Poor Boys and OatEaters know where they live.

If you google "democrats denounce riots", you will find plenty of examples. You've been proven wrong.

Your only hope is that americans are too stupid to tell the difference between burning down a police station because they were killing citizens, versus attacking the capital to end democracy because a con man told you a bunch of lies.

Until we start arresting the politicians who incited these people.

Who preached of sedition and stolen elections.

Who attempted to destroy our nation.

All of these arrests are meaningless.

What's so funny is how easily Dumtake (and pretty much any deplorable) is proved wrong.

Yet you persist in believing the lies you spew.

So, actually, not so funny.

"Protesting such brutality is right and necessary. It's an utterly American response. But burning down communities and needless destruction is not. Violence that endangers lives is not. Violence that guts and shutters businesses that serve the community is not."
