I doubt your interested in carrying this lady's water, but you should still acknowledge the point being made here.

Not every gun owner affords reason when considering their actions. The idea someone deserves to extrajudicially executing for shop lifting is completely bonkers, yet SOME gun owners will take the opportunity to use their weapon regardless.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's nothing on a gun permit application requiring a psychological Hero Complex assessment, is there?

A gun demands to be used in the same way a doughnut demands to be eaten.

If self-defense were the only reason people went armed, many fewer people would be armed.

But to pretend one person's bad actions exposes some LIE is laughable. Especially to the degree that legallyyourdumb is acting as if it does.

She was exercising her second amendment rights. This the future,an America where vigilante's decide what's a capital crime and what isn't. Rule of law is so passe', we need these heroes to step up and protect us from the criminality of the poor and unwashed. She is showing the way to a better, more civil, society, based on potential death from strangers armed and ready to keep the peace and protect the property of corporations.

There will be 25 gun homicides today.
There will be 55 gun suicides today.
I guess you consider that laughable.

Looks like it might be a .22LR.

Might as well have thrown the gun at the perp. Probably would have hurt more and wouldn't have landed her in jail.

Anything that can be taken from Hardware store is not worth a human's life. She should be charged with attempted murder also. She does not look like she has much money but I hope the store employee sues her big, so she will never be able to own anything the rest of her life.

Arizona... Maricopa county... Hispanic... Arrested - More likely it was so they could do a "legality" status check than because of the actual shooting.

IF it was a .22LR, they still do plenty of damage. Don't dismiss a gun because of the round. I killed plenty of things with a .22 when I was younger. True they don't have the mass and energy or larger rounds but they are still lethal and do plenty of damage. Yes the employee should be relieved this typical and unqualified gun packer wasn't bringing more heat but who knows where they were hit and how bad the damage is. Note: the employee is hospitalized.

Bizarre somebody would think shoplifting deserves the death penalty. Probably a Qanon supporter. Description and plate number would have been my first choice and I support lethal force when necessary.

Apparently took a round in the left knee. The perp was trying to "disable" the escaping vehicle.

She's a hero. She saved lives. An armed society is a civil society. She should be deputized and made law enforcement in that county. Vigilante's are a great American tradition,we need more of them. This is why we have a second amendment,to protect the property of people, which corporations are.

I've read a .22 round is a favorite of mob 'torpedos' because the bullets bounce around inside the skull instead of making a huge mess with a gaping hole on the other side.

More sacrifice for freedom. I'm sure the employee understands that the shooter was standing up for freedom. He'll probably thank her for shooting him if he recovers.

Well yes, he has to sue the shoplifters too. They are complicit. In fact, the company who made the goods that were stolen...they have some skin in this as well.

For what? Being in the vicinity?

I mean if they didn't steal stuff the shooter never would have had to shoot the wrong person in the first place.

The shooter didn't have to do shht. They wanted to.

They wanted to be that hero with a gun who took out the bad guy.

Shooting someone for running away seems unnecessary.

Shooting someone for shoplifting is an overreaction.

Being a by standard in a store doesn't give you the right to vigilante justice.

#39 | Posted by ClownShack at 2021-02-02 04:49 PM | Reply | Newsworthy 1

Complicit for not getting shot?

They're complicit for shoplifting.

Nothing more.

Hey. I could be wrong. Perhaps they're guilty for setting off all the events that transpired. Like a Rube Goldberg.

Their shoplifting sent off the bowling ball which hit the pool cue into the 8 ball that rolled across the table, hit the scissors, cut the string which was tethering the balloon that floated into a pin casing it to burst which startled the shooter into feeling a need to take action. Which was why they shot the store employee.

Also, the store is clearly complicit in rigging up that entire contraption.

Guns don't (by themselves) kill people.
Idiots with guns kill people. And therein
lies the problem. Idiots! You can't avoid
them! They are legion.

So for those big pro-gun nuts out there,
I ask you the simple question. "How do you
separate the nuts from owning guns?"

A: (well the simple answer anyways)
Is you can't...

Probably why countries like Australia enacted
legislation against assault rifles (after the worst mass shooting in their countries history)... and gun violence went Way Down...

Or why countries like Japan (with high suicide rates and an overworked over stressed population) don't allow many guns....and guess what, few to any killings by guns...

It simply boils down to this, the more guns you have, the more gun deaths you have. Couple that with lax gun laws (there are places in this country where guns are taken into church and into bars [brilliant idea, that]), a general lack of education on gun use, storage, training, etc... and you have Modern Day America, a poor excuse for a bad Spaghetti Western, where a slightly controlled teapot is set upon the stove, and almost any altercation can turn the burner on... The burner flicks on, and good people die poorly... And who would blame us if some of us have gotten sick of it?

Biden to China?

Oh, you mean that blatantly fictional
rightwing dirge about Biden's son being
connected somehow to some nefarious
plot/deal/whatever the right wants to
make up about it, that somehow affects 'Muerica
and 'Muericans?

Yeah, see, I try to weed out the crap from
the news when I review 20 or so news sources
daily in my perusal of the headlines for the day.

But hey, believe whatever fiction you want...
this IS America after all, and you have the
right to be as dumb as you want to make yourself.

And if you are referring to some other connection
between Biden and China, do feel free to go ahead
and explain...this ought to be good.
