That's President Biden and he got more votes than any candidate in American history LOL

Good for him.
I can see why he'd keep that secret, though.

To keep the anti-vaxxer part of his "base".

Trump believed the Covid science, but lied about it to cover for his initial lies. He killed hundreds of thousands of Americans because he could not tell the truth. Of course he is going to hide his vaccination. He is a liar and coward.

Someone here posted this joke. Very apropos:

Two anti-vaxxers (insert conspiracy) are killed in a car wreck.

Standing in front of God, one of them asks, "God, is it true they're putting microchip trackers in vaccine shots?"

God, with a chuckle, replies, "absolutely not."

The other anti-vaxxer leans over and whispers to his friend, "MAN, this thing goes a lot higher up than we thought!"

We didnt have a distribution plan dumbass. Why is that by the way?

I honestly don't see why this is a big deal? President Trump asked companies to streamline the process of creating the vaccine, so he certainly supported it. Biden got his vaccine in December, quite publicly.... so why would we be surprised president trump did? Good for him. He fits all the criteria for receiving the vaccine in the first rounds, so he didn't skip the line. This is just a non issue.

It's an issue because the haters are trying to rustle up faux outrage.
Next week they will be whining about his toenails.

Why is Trump getting the vaccine when he already had "beaten" the "China Virus" with his
magnificent manhood, the cure made from aborted babies and steroids?

I agree this is a non-issue as it only serves to confirm my assumption that they got it.

This explains why he kept it secret: morbid, sick, narcissistic pride.

WHen a moron gets hundreds of thousands of americans killed with his cancerous stupidity, decent people dont need to fake their outrage.

Terrible people wonder are too stupid and hateful to see what everyone's so upset about.

#15 | Posted by SpeakSoftly at 2021-03-02 12:03 PM | Reply

There is plenty to be upset about. This isn't one.

This likely resulted in thousands of additional deaths for no reason. You dont have the decency to get upset about that?

#17 | Posted by SpeakSoftly at 2021-03-02 12:21 PM | Reply

Wait. Him getting the vaccine resulted in more deaths??

At a time when other high profile people were publicly getting vaccinated to encourage public confidence in the vaccine, it would have been beneficial if Trump had also done so. That's the issue.

Ah! I'm sorry, I wasn't following. It's the secrecy that's a problem. That makes much more sense. I can see where that would be beneficial, but keeping his medical information private at any level is fine with me.

I live in Texas. Houston area so not a radical Trump stronghold but certainly leans heavily that way. The line here to get a vaccine is cut throat and long. No one seems to be shirking it.... do I don't see how him publicizing it works have changed much of anything.

#21 | Posted by ABH at 2021-03-02 12:49 PM | Reply

I wonder if the Trumpers in my family who aren't planning on getting the vaccine might have been encouraged to do so if they had seen him do it on camera?

Trump is a cult leader. You don't see how a cult leader doing something would encourage his cult members to do the same?

#23 | Posted by SpeakSoftly at 2021-03-02 01:28 PM | Reply

I don't see it, no. Even the most ardent Trump supporters I know are lined up for the vaccine. And some of the most anti trump people I know are anti vaxxers. In my anecdotal experience, it wouldn't have done a damn thing.

It's a good thing the country isn't run according to anecdotal evidence, which everyone knows is worthless.

" I don't see it, no."

Not even in the macro?!? Are you looking?

#26 | Posted by Danforth at 2021-03-02 04:53 PM | Reply | Newsworthy 1

Okay...so now that we know....does anybody think this will encourage his followers to get vaccinated? Meaning that they wouldn't have otherwise without this news?

#27 | Posted by eberly at 2021-03-02 04:54 PM | Reply

I could walk outside my office and shout, "Trump got the vaccine!!".

a lot of heads would turn...then I could follow up with "So, does that change anybody's mind about getting the vaccine?"

any takers? anybody care?

I really don't think it would matter to any of them. But I'm not them so I don't know.

And if it's true.....it would be anecdotal evidence and speak has declared it worthless

The fact that he hid it tells them something is wrong with the vaccine. So NO this secret leaking out will not save lives. But trump being honest about it at the time would have saved hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of lives.

Going back to the beginning, I agree for the last part. Maybe not the numbers you typed but yes....better results.

I think Trump's creaming about "freedom" and "liberate" some states all meant he wouldn't dare say he got vaccinated. Remember how badly he missed the 20 million number by the end of December? It's no wonder a plurality of Republicans say they won't get vaccinated.

Is your reading comprehension that bad, or are you just a liar?
He didn't say the vaccine doesn't exist, he said that the White House doesn't have them.

His vaccination just undermines the lie that he actually had Covid19. Personally, I never believed he did. There is nothing Trump won't lie about, we all know that but some of us still pretend not to.

He's either lying that he ever had it, or was lying about how bad it was when it was far worse than he revealed.

The only thing for sure is that he's lying about it one way or the other.
