Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Tattoos are usually considered a form of personal expression, but a team of researchers in Europe have created what they're calling the world's first light-emitting tattoo based on OLED screen technology that, besides presumably looking kind of cool, could also serve as a visible warning about potential health concerns.

This might be a tad esoteric, but what will be the age where we have to go to Carousel?

How long before advertisers start buying access rights to what is displayed on these OLED tattoos?

That is the mark of the beast!

Phester, that's funny. That "mark of the beast" fear still drives people to do strange things.
When I was born-again and looking at going to Missionary training and then deployment, I was all bought in! Our Bible Study was adamant that we'd all have that mark in just 2-3 years. That was 40 years ago.

I have tattoos now, though :)

Yav, it was a little over 40 years ago when we somehow got conned into joining a Baptist church. The dunking and all.
We finally discovered that they were giving us eye-talians the stink eye. Never felt so foolish in mah life for falling for that "love". To thrive there, it takes a slim trim blond mother, A father that works 9-5 and volunteers in the summer camp...2 kids.. a boy that says yes maam and a girl with long blond hair done up in pigtails.
I ain't been back since.

LOL the true "Mark of the beast" is our everday credit card.

#13 - Oh. Let me guess. Southern Baptist, right Phester?

Same here.

Yes - they didn't quite get the mark right, did they? LOL!
Mine's ApplePay. :)

LOL Our youngest son went to the church school for 3 years. He tells stories about it that we crack up over to this day.
He was and is a great person but one of the deacons shielded his daughter from my son because our names didn't quite fit.
He would ask me why Archie didn't like him, I didn't know what to say, but inside I wanted to tune that bastich up.
