Make it $100 for anyone following a politician's advice.
If they haven't learned after a year,

That's actually awesome. I wonder how many time a day they have to listen to the BS.

"I understand why they are tired of this but COVID's not gone"

Great reply. Unfortunately Michigan is a bit ahead of the curve in much of the country we are seeing cases surging again. Governor opened things up as we were already changing from down slope to cases going up again.

Learning is a liberal conspiracy.

Conservatives prefer to choose having faith in the things they heard from con men.

Can't wait for the first jackass to test this and refuse to pay the $125 surcharge then whine that his freedoms are being violated when he tries to skate on the full bill.

Sometimes anti-maskers are flat unavoidable, mostly in supermarkets and big-box stores. But if a business is enforcing masks and you can't stand the inconvenience of wearing one, then turn around and walk away. I've already walked away from several establishments who won't enforce face coverings. Not the least of which is the person who had been cutting my hair for 30 years.

I'm confused as to why you would elect someone whose advice you distrust.

The context is the coronavirus, which was unheard of in 2016.
But you knew that.

Politicians have offered advice which ranges from:
"Wear a mask" (Democrats)
to
"Burn your mask" (Republicans)

Only one of those pieces of advice is monumentally stupid, though.
(Spoiler alert: it's the Republican one.)

The context is who to listen to. Do you listen to experts and doctors or to a guy who said he never paid hush money to a porn star when he actually did?

I made my position clear in #2.
Everyone but you can see and read that.

$100 for explanation why mask is needed. $500 for explanation that a partisan Republican is actually able to understand. $10,000 for an explanation a dumb-ass partisan Republican can agree with.
