Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

The BBC's Beijing correspondent John Sudworth has left China and moved to Taiwan following pressure and threats from the Chinese authorities. Sudworth, who has won awards for his reporting on the treatment of the Uyghur people in the Xinjiang region, left Beijing with his family.

Totally worth a read. I am surprised it took this long and honestly I am surprised he and his wife have not been locked up. Sound a lot like Trumplican intimidation of the press here. Don't get me wrong though - Trumplicans didn't actually have the power the "authorities" in China do.

Americans are not the ideal in how to treat other people both internally and in other parts of the world. Americans can and do some heinous things but what the Chinese take things to another level. It is just another example of why putting all our tech and business in the hands of China is such a terrible idea.
