Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Saturday, April 03, 2021

Former President Donald Trump put out another statement Friday night ranting about the 2020 election that ended with a brief Easter message. Trump pushed a number of baseless and conspiratorial claims in the wake of the 2020 election, even posting a video on January 6th falsely saying the election was stolen. His latest statement about the 2020 elections complains about "the Fake News Media" saying his claims are "baseless, unfounded, unwarranted." "With each passing day, and unfortunately for the Radical Left CRAZIES, more and more facts are coming out," Trump says. His statement then actually ends with, "Other than that, Happy Easter!"

More and more FACTS???? When in the name of all that is holy has Donnie Fail ever dealt in FACTS?

"More and more facts are coming out."

In Trump's world that called one of his many preemptive strikes against the media.

But he's right about that ~~ just not the facts he wants anybody to hear.

He's going to be a busy boy the next couple years ranting about all those pesky facts, especially since that NDA he depended on has been declared invalid.

... more and more facts are coming out ...

Coming out of where?

Coming out of where?

Some questions are best left unanswered.

#3 just more grandiose claims that never have any backing in reality.

Notice he doesn't say which facts, or who stole the election or how. Competent lawyers won't work for him without kompromate, so he can't afford to get sued.

His stop the steal lawyers are saying no reasonable person would believe their lies.

The only facts coming out are about his rape buddy, giggidy Gaetz, is going to prison.

Not only was fmr Pres Trump twice-impeached (a significant precedent), but he also lost the popular vote all the times he ran for election.

Every single time he ran, he lost the popular vote.

How many politicians can claim that honor?

Seriously, how many?

"Popular vote" is only a post-election public relations talking point.

As for impeachment, he only word that meant anything to Trump was "acquittal."

And the only votes that meant anything to Trump were the swing states that cost him the election, which are now on his enemy and the object of his notorious fits of temper.

Trump's rage against Georgia is now in the process of stepping on the third rail. He's just called for a Republican boycott against not only Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines and the MBL but also:

JPMorgan, Chase, Viacom, CBS, Citigroup, Cisco, UPS and Merck . . . exclaiming "Don't go back to their products until they relent. We can play a better game than them," he said.

His reasoning ~~ "There's more of us then there is of them."

Does anybody still think this moron is still sane? Or is his dementia conjuring up imaginary boogy-men?

I wonder why he left out his arch-enemy Amazon?

Maybe they'll be in tomorrow's group.

Had an old boss advise me that sometimes it's best to give your enemies enough rope to hang themselves. Instead of directly opposing them.

Donald Trump must own a rope factory, because no matter how much hanging rope life presents him, he still seems to hang on for dear life without serious repercussions.

MADSCIENTIST

What do you call the biggest repercussions of all ~~ losing the election?

Not to mention the expense of defending a dozen charges (and they're not through counting yet) being investigated against him on behalf of the I.R.S., Department of Justice, New York State and the Manhattan DA.

Not to mention the loss of lease contracts bearing his (now disgraced) brand and the loss of future lucrative deals he thought he had in the bag with Russia and Saudi Arabia financing.

Not to mention the same disgrace his name brought upon his unholy children and their loss of future lucrative deals.

Not to mention the living nightmare of every media mogul in the world trying to get their hands on his tax returns for the biggest scoop of the century ~ which will eventually show up over the transom somewhere.

Not to mention his fear that Vladimir Putin will pull the plug on their unholy reciprocity agreement regarding Ukraine and the use of the U.S. military to help Russia's expansion into Eastern Europe ~~ plus the part Trump played in the slaughter of a U.S. journalist.

Repercussions? Don't make us laugh. They haven't even started yet.

Right now Trump is using the only avenue he has left. That's to bellow like a stuck pig hanging upside down from a tripod.

#14 I can't really improve on your analysis, Twinpac.

With Trump, he most always seems to slither and wriggle his slimy self out of imprisonment or probation, while leaving his friends, employees, business associates, attorneys, family, and constituents holding the bag.

That same boss I referred to above also told me not to hang out with snakes. That it's their nature to bite and poison you when you least expect it. And they don't change or learn and usually die by misadventure or by their own hand. He was alluding to the owner/founder of our company, who we both worked closely with and was an alcoholic drug-addict who boasted of his sexual exploits in the most grotesque and vulgar ways.

He was right. Several years later, the owner of our company shot and killed his wife in an alcohol-fueled fit of rage. He carried two small pistols on him at all times, and had a revolver in his locked top desk drawer. After he was released on $1M bail a week later, he went back to his home, which was a crime scene and secured with police tape, and blew his head off.

In other words, in using the word "repercussions", the connotation I was using it in was in the sense of being physically detained by the authorities. I probably should've chosen another word or a qualifying adjective to present the idea more clearly.
